2/21/25 - I am re-blogging this solely due to the topic of curtsying. Sure, I know this dates me but that’s alright. When I was growing up, girls learned how to curtsy daintily wearing their adorable petticoats and dresses.

And boys like me looked on with envy. How I wished to be one of the sweet girls in curls.

I actually practiced curtsying wearing my tartan robe. It was even more of a delight once I acquired a cute lacy half slip from the girl across the street. I am sure she never knew what happened to it.
