My island Heaven

I’m still at the “flowers on the beach, land bulldozed” part of my town-buiding, but I made some progress on my entrance today that I’m really happy with. 💚 I feel like the fact that my town hall is so close to the airport, and not even lined up with it, kinda forced me to be creative in a way that I wouldn’t have otherwise. It’s not like I have room to do a big fancy plaza-style entrance, so why not do something like this?

Also, I haven’t talked about my plans too much, but I want this particular coastline to be inspired by this fantasy-world city that I really like from a book series I’ve read; the city is called Ys and it’s a very peaceful, prosperous city with lots of white beach villas and palaces, marble balustrades and terraces overlooking the ocean, that sort of thing ✨ I am going to have the museum and white villager homes in this area, and try my best to create that feel, but by no means is my whole town going to look like this or have this theme. ^^ I also want to focus more on the blueprintof my town before I get into analyzing every flower placement, making 50 patterns for town, etc., but those are my eventual goals to dress up all the areas in town!

I don’t know if someone made this yet, but I got inspired to make outlines of brick paths that you can put over the sand, dirt and dark dirt (I’m sorry I can’t post MO because I don’t have Nintendo Online…)
