Why is it so hard to find the perfect gift for Valentine’s day?

I made the mistake of going to the grocery store today and nearly vomited upon walking through the doors. There was so much.. pink. Hearts and balloons and flowers. Ugh. No thank you. Needless to say, I made my way as quickly as I could through the store, got what I needed and high-tailed it out of there–or tried to, at least. Every frickin register was busy af, and the only one that had less than four customers was decked out in the cheesiest decorations I’ve ever seen. Like, I’m talking white arch dressed in pink tulle and fairy lights. This is the last time I venture into the public before the 14th.

Oh wow, Luna I mean your love for valentines day is just so strong I can’t handle it. But I can totally get you but make sure to go out on the 15th so you can get all the awesome deals on candy and booze.

I never understood throwing parties in the middle of the week. I mean, we all have school and work to deal with the next day… Then again, I guess the type of people that go hard during the week probably aren’t the type who worry much about their attendance records.

Well not all people have classes everyday during the week and others have a lot of online and independent work classes. So yes it is totally possible for people to still have great attendance and great grades and still be able to have some fun during the week. I am an example of one of those, I rarely miss classes and have great grades.

Well, it all depends on your definition of fun, however, my weekend will mainly consist of hanging out with friends and working a little bit on Sunday.

Typically I would say it would have to include dancing or booze but I am up for just about anything to be honest. I am up for trying something new.

I’m still not used to everyone getting so excited over American football this one day a year. I sure do hope that no one forgot about the Puppy Bowl that happened earlier. My dog loved watching his fellow compatriots, almost as much as I did.

I decided to go out and take advantage of the fun at bars and clubs. Although I will totally watch some recaps of the puppy bowl and the kitten on. I have always had a soft spot for animals. 

So I am guessing you are having a good Superbowl Sunday then, big bro?

That is very true, why didn’t I think about that before. I am pretty sure I told you before that you’re pretty smart but I should rreally learn to listen to your advice a it more.

It isn’t first nature to everyone so it is understandable for you to not think about it. It just has to become second nature. Even though my talent is pretty unique I might be able to shed some of it off on you.

I guess that is true but oh well. Yeah I could do that if I so wished too.

Well did that busy streak calm down? Because if things were so crazy it sounds like you could use a break.

The fact that you have to ask if fun things are going on this weekend tells me you don’t actually care to find anything fun - just something with…I don’t know, free booze, I’d assume?

I can go to any bar or club I want to get free booze I don’t have to ask find places to get it. I was just genuinely curious since I have kind of been in hiding with a project and have gotten out of the loop.

Well you did learn from the best on how to have fun so I would hope that you would still be having it. I just got caught up with some projects that I didn’t think would catch so much of my attention. But I am back full throttle now.

You know what I haven’t done in a long time? Gone out and had fun, teach me your ways of fun and I think I can get us into a place for free. Not that money matters but you know how it is.

It seems like I am the one that brings you back into the fun world, but I am totally glad to take the job. I have been in the mood to try some place new so that sounds perfect to me.
