Upon a lilypad two frogs were wed, And in a cave a union was annulled.  No longer would they share their flower-bed, From ceremony their love had been culled.  They met one balmy day in mid-July,  And when their eye first met so did their heart,  But, O, those sacred vows, they were a lie,  For it was not ‘til death that did them part.  One frog could not stand the other’s cooking,  The other couldn’t bare their spouse’s snore,  And though they’d swear that they were not looking,  They saw that marriage shouldn’t be a chore.  And weddings never have a steady course,  But this has been a tale of frog divorce.
