I’ve been wracking my brains for a title and coming up with nothing. I mean, there’s a Glamour magazine, so why not an UnGlamoured? Doesn’t have much pizzazz, though.

it’s tricky indeed. idk i’m not good at coming up with names for things. hmmmm. i’ll mull it overrrr.

and thus, in a matter of days, Goldie has already amassed a small army of magical peeps to pose naked for the new magazine. which still needs a name. cries about it, ic and ooc. used his only crafty one for the strip joint. hmmm. but yessss, i’m glad everyone’s excited to throw their lot into the porno mag scene, ahah.

Ade and Finn (unglamoured brownie, surprisingly similar to Ade tbh - think a feathery beetle) would def be up for modelling for Goldie, Kyle.

The more I think about it, the more I think Jackie would honestly be interested in modeling for Goldie unglamoured. Pips is involved, so she’d undoubtedly pester him about what the project is about. And if he trusts Goldie that much, she’d see little reason not to trust him too. Count at least one avian minor faerie queen amongst your models, Goldie. At least for a one time feature.

"That's the way it should be, honestly. Challenging in all the right ways, but still something you enjoy. You guys were so good!" Lani beamed at her friend. She wasn't able to see them play since she had been backstage getting her class ready for their own performance, but she'd heard them. "I'm glad you had fun. Oh, just final preparations on the end of summer performance for my hula class. Not too much downtime between class and work, but I enjoy it when I get it. Like now!"

“Sounds about right. But...honestly, the boss is more good than me--Techmo can into it all with that future, alien...y’know--all that super tech. Most of the time I just help out with the real’ basic stuff. Thanks though, s’nice of you t’say.”

“That sounds cool! I mean, like, not how busy you are, but, the whole class thing and working and...all a’that. That’s cool” Cam said, smiling.

"Yeah! I've been there a few times, and the food is amazing." Having a best friend who worked there also helped in the manner of discounts (Thanks, Xander). Not that the food was expensive - sure there were some pricey dishes, but her wallet could never complain. "Sounds good. I haven't been in a while. Classes and jobs and the summer heat, man. It zaps the energy out of me. Bigger paycheck?" She shrugged. "I mean, you deserve it. Hope your boss sees that, too. Did you enjoy the festival?"

“Good t’know--glad I didn’t disappoint, with my food choice” Cam laughed softly, running a hand through his hair in a fidget. The only part of a busy workload he liked was the paycheck that came with it; he always had a lot to do, for the boss, but he kept him well supported with his payments. A pricey meal would be worth it, if it could quell the powerful hunger. 

“Cool. It’s--yeah, I get paid good. It’s not always easy, but it’s what I like t’do--nice to actually be able t’use the stuff y’know. And yeah, kinda’, I did--got t’play with the guys, a bit, which is always cool. What about you? Like...what’ve you been up to, lately?”

same with the doctors honestly just. sooooo far behind on modern medication. not as bad, due to gargoyle fortitude and endurance making them nigh immune to most normal diseases and poisons but. stilllll. it was a hellish first few months, getting all that done.

this is not the right acc to post his headcanon but i know harold has. a horrible fear/loathing of the dentist since, after he left his gargoyle clan and went to nyc, he went from dark ages dentistry straight into the modern era. so he has. so many fillings, and had so many little surgeries and procedures, and he is still traumatized to this day.

"Worry not, my feathered friend." Lani announced in her best Incredibles inspired superhero voice (complete with a dramatic pose). "I've come to release you from the jagged clutches of hunger! You're choosing the place, though. I could literally go for anything right now. Hungry bird is hungry." Her voice returned to normal as her posture became more relaxed, and a gentle tap to her phone's screen paused her chosen 'soundtrack of the moment'. "Looks like you've had busier day than usual."

“My hero...” Cam mumbled, a warm smirk across his face as he followed behind her. Work had been packed for the entirety of the afternoon (how could an entire pack of ‘wolves not know how to fix one computer?). A lunch break had been out of the question, the toll of which was churning about inside of him in the form of a growing ache in his stomach. 

“Alright, sounds good--you ever hear of that place Paradise? Terry told me ‘bout it, belongs to a friend of his, so, maybe, we could go check it out? And no kidding” he chuckled, shrugging his shoulders. “The boss really let me flounder, dealing with all those customers. But it’s whatever, y’know? No need t’worry ‘bout that now.”

LAUGHS ACTUAL EMBARRASSING UNCLE PAN. Nicholas is going to have some regret. But deep down he so loves his family. And needs to connect with more of them. hububu I welcome this. So glad you picked up Pan. u play him well already.

d'aw thankyouuuuu. and yes we must all be connected and ready-to-go. gonna need to count on each other quite heavily, in the coming conflictttt.

Nicholas: -allows a chuckle to escape, nodding an affirmation.- “Dinner. Perhaps next Thursday. My treat…uncle.”

and thus it shall be. he shall let Nicholas choose the destination since his would just be a bar lol. the only diet i need is a liquid one aka all the strong drinks bring 'em out bring 'em out.

Nicholas: ..-relaxes marginally at the use of ‘Nicholas’ instead of ‘Himeros’, and smiles faintly in apology and gratitude, inclining his head.- “…forgive my wariness. Perhaps we could have dinner together; in the near future. Catch up. Si?”

*Smiles genuinely, finishing his drink with a deep gulp* "No apology necessary. If this island has anything, from what I've come to know if it, it's reasons to be cautious. Danger is all around us...and I have no doubts that things will only grow more dire, with time. *Sighs* But enough cryptic blather, I'm sure you contend with plenty of such grim words already--dinner, certainly, I would enjoy that immensely."

Nicholas: -sits on Damon. Fluffs up.- : | “Nothing to see here. We don’t want any thx u. Dionysus would be delighted to, ah. ‘Chill’ with you I am sure.” [ahahaha I welcome his presence. Even if Nicho is like “I SMELL WAR, IT SMELLS LIKE GOATS”]

*Snorts* "Defensive, are we? I have no intention of making any mockery of your beloved, Nicholas, I was merely admiring the courageous and curious qualities he boasts. It is not often we have new blood, among our ranks....not in this day and age. But yes, I shall indeed take my leave, though I shall leave one of my finest bottles of wine--sylvan, as it were, which I hope suits your tastes."
