Here are some of my copingskills for when I’m having a bad day, or just need some ideas for what to do:
Listen to music (MusiCure is one of my favourites to listen to).
Watch television or a movie (Go on Netflix).
Be creative (Paint with acrylics on a canvas, make a collage, draw (Mandalas or colouring books are great if you don’t know what to draw), play with Hama beads (you never get to old for that), ect).
Read a good book.
Take a hot (or cold) shower or a relaxing bath.
Put a facemask on.
Drink something warm (cocoa, tea or coffee).
Play games (On a Playstation, Xbox, Wii or just board games)
Call a friend, boy/girlfriend or a family member.
Have some laptop time (go on tumblr and search your favourite tags, or go watch your favourite Youtubers here are some of mine: Zoella, CutiePieMarzia, Ingrid Nilsen, Tanya Burr).
Exercise (You will feel good afterwards!)
Take a nap.
Write in a journal (or paint/draw in an art journal).
Go for a walk somewhere nice (a park, around your garden, in a forest, ect.)
Paint your nails.
Assemble a puzzle.
