I’ve been playing around with some more organic techniques in after effects!
I have been interning at Studio Muti in Cape Town lately! This is a little gif I did while there! :) Check the MOVING project on Studio Muti’s dribble and Instagram accounts below and also on my Behance Profile!

RUMOUR - The latest word for the weekly challenge! I imagined a rumour as a process of planting a seed into someone's mind which then manifests and grows with potentially harmful results! Thus these two icons were born :)
This weeks word is - ‘EARTH’
I had a lot of fun making this :)
Started a weekly challenge with my buddy Tristan Chesselet (check out his on this dribble link)! We use a word generator to give us a word which we then respond to in an illustrative way! This weeks word was ‘CLOAK’!
Wow, thanks for the quick response. To be honest, i'm not exactly sure what i want to study but i know its something to do with media/advertising/design. Although im pretty set on UCT, i've also been researching some smaller places like Red & Yellow, AAA, Vega. Do you know anything about these places? I am looking to start over in a place with a vibe like the one you are describing so i think the city is the place to be?! P.S. thanks for being so informative, u seem like the right person to ask!
My pleasure! I’m glad I could help! If you are looking for that vibe then the city is the only place you’ll find it. I don’t know too much about any of the design firms around but I know a few people who have been to AAA and Vega who have not had any complaints - you could also have a look at City Varsity as an option! Also, if you are interested in design, specifically, you will find that UCT is lacking as they have no design-specific course - they do have media courses though! The Cape Town design industry is booming at the moment and on it’s way up in my opinion so it is worth looking at! I hope you find that helpful. Let me know if there is anything else!
I live in London and have been wanting to come study at UCT. What is it like to live & study in Cape Town?
That's a difficult question as it depends a lot on what you are studying and where exactly you are living! Generally speaking though, UCT has a very diverse student base and a strong social vibe which is what makes it great! Also, the majority of students are friendly! As far as living is concerned, if you are staying in the city there is an inherent energy and busyness surrounding it and the centrality of it makes living there convenient as ones essential requirements are readily available! Personally, I find it fantastic living here if that helps in any way! I hope that begins to answer your question! :)
This is a conceptual piece about reality and simulation! Think "The Matrix" and you are on your way to deciphering it! :)
Kon from the anime series Bleach. Getting in some more practice on the wacom!
Your designs are great, where do you study?
Thanks! I am currently in my fourth year at the Michaelis school of Fine Art, UCT, Cape Town.

Awesome work cameron! Especially the children book illustrations. Love Emma and Zico
Thanks Guys! I really appreciate it! :)
Yup! Its a bicycle gif - another one to add to the already overpopulated bike rack that forms such a large part of the design world!
Having some fun with a bit of motion again! Messing around with the repeater function in After effects!
