I love this list of prices from Warlock’s Tower.  World building in the 1970s meant lingering over the smallest details.  Someone really wanted to know that a pound of ordinary beans were 3cp, but haricot verts and dried beans were 5cp.  (Warlock’s Tower, unofficial supplement to OD&D by Balboa Game Company, 1979)
