“you should give her books a chance, she’s a great author.” camryn smiled, taking in a deep breath before nodding. “oh yes! definitely! give it a try. you can take it now if you want, read it about three times already. just love the story.” she shrugged, holding out the book.
“have you seen jurassic world? oh, come on, we have to watch it!” ajax whined, shuffling a bit on the couch as he fiddled with the remote. “i mean, how could you not wanna watch dinosaurs roamin’ the earth again? that’s like…amazin’, don’t you think?
“yes I’ve seen jurassic world. that one is a good one.. I love that movie. we should watch it because it’s been a while since I have.” camryn hummed and chuckled. “I like dinosaurs. I like movies with dinosaurs..” she smiled small and shrugged.

it took a second for her eyes to adjust, but her smile was bright once she realized what was happening. “oh, awesome! how should we prop it up so the board stays lit up?” poppy gave a look of disbelief at the other. “i guess i’m the exact opposite. i’m scared of thunderstorms.”
“maybe if you have like a cup or - the wall!” camryn reached over and leaned her phone up against the wall. “it should stay.. but the board seems pretty lit up if you ask me.” she smiled, pushing her hair back before glancing at the girl. “really? wow.. I just think they’re cool.”

“they’ll be lying if they say they never tripped in their own life.” she chuckled reassuringly. “don’t worry, i’m zoe. what were you reading? seemed good enough.” she giggled pointing at the book.
“oh that’s actually so true.” camryn chuckled and then sighed softly. “I’m camryn.. I was just reading one of colasanti’s books..” the girl named one of her favorite authors. “so much closer..is what it’s called. it’s a good one.”

A sweet, almost tender laugh continued to fall as she adjusted the bags. “ mhm, so strong ! “ she joked with a roll of her eyes. “ like look at me, practically a bodybuilder. “
camryn laughed when sunny did, shaking her head. “that was great sarcasm.” she teased and then nodded. “wow, such a body builder, sunny. you can hurt anything coming your way.” she joked with a smile.

“oh, i hope to win one day.” camryn laughed and then turned back to her when sunny had finished ordering for them. “but laundry wasn’t such a big deal.” she shrugged and chuckled. “but okay.. whatever you say.”

A laugh falling from her lips before shaking her head fondly, “ oh shut up cammy, “ she mused gathering the fallen items. Opening the bag so Camryn could place in what she had helped recover, “ thanks, “ hummed the blonde before rising to a stance. “ clearly i think i’m stronger than i am. “
camryn laughed as she picked up the items. “hey now, that’s not how you should talk to a person when they’re helping you out!” she teased and then starting placing the items inside the bag for her. “no problem.. oh you’re so strong” she smiled at her friend.

“i’m not going to win am i?” camryn laughed and shook her head before stepping aside when sunny ordered. she smiled and then turned to the blonde when she asked cam a question. “hmm? no, no I’m good with the coffee thanks though.”

as zoe walked back to the apartments, she noticed a girl reading her book as she walked. since she loved books too, she tried to catch the title of it but her eyes widened when she saw the girl fall. “i did but don’t worry,it has happened a lot of times to me too.” she chuckled picking up the book. “are you alright?” she asked handing it to her.
camryn laughed and shook her head. “it just.. it really is embarrassing when someone sees you fail completely at walking.” she shook her head and then reach for the book. “thanks, I appreciate it. I’m fine, thank you.” she pushed her hair back, trying to stop blushing.

coming out of the apartment building, mitch hopped down the steps with a frown curling on their lips. the key around their neck swung and tapped against their chest with each staggered movement until they were on flat ground once again. it was then that they were front row to witness the brunette stumble in her movements. frown becoming deeper for a moment, they observed how she flushed, clearly embarrassed, before moving over. “the whole thing,” they confirmed, stopping in front of her to bend down and pick up the book. “you shouldn’t read and walk- for the book’s sake,” they commented as they brushed the cover off before holding it back out to her.
camryn pushed her hair back, standing up straight to look at them. “shoot, that’s really embarrassing. pretend nothing happened for my sake.” she grabbed onto the book and smiled small as she noticed he brushed off the cover. “thanks.. I’ll try not to read again while walking. It’s sorta like texting and walking but.. yeah anyway I’m rambling, sorry. I’m camryn.” she stuck her hand out.
camryn was walking down the street, heading back to the apartments while reading -as always- when she came across a stick in her path. she wasn’t paying attention so she ended up slightly tripping over it. she caught herself and dropped her book. she looked up and chuckled when she seen that a person just saw how she completely failed to walk. she shook her head and covered her face while laughing at herself. “you saw that didn’t you?” she put her hands on her hips and then cleared her throat when she felt her cheeks get warm.
Sunny had overestimated how much strength she possessed, carrying a few too many shopping bags as she struggled to get from her car to the apartment complex. Arm giving out the young blonde dropped a bag to the floor, a few stray grocery items rolling out on to the concrete. “ really ?! “ whined the 23 year old.
camryn noticed her friend struggling. she went up to sunny and attempted to help but was to late when a bag went to the floor. “sunny - one job.” she joked and leaned down to help her out with picking up the groceries. she smiled.
silas always had a black eye , tattooed knuckles were always bruised , and often times he was bleeding from something. it was true as ever , he had just returned from a ‘ fight club ‘ - esque gathering and he didn’t realize his nose was bleeding until it dripped on to his cigarette he put in his mouth. he grunted in acknowledgment , but he just continued to pull out his lighter to light his cigarette.
camryn was walking by when she saw the male starting to smoke. at first glance she noticed his nose was bleeding but then stopped at the second glance, noticing he wasn’t doing anything for it. “hey, your nose is bleeding..” she said softly, furrowing her eyebrows.
“ this is not good !! ” poppy whines, fumbling to strike a match against its box. the sound of thunder rumbles outside, overlapping her words. “ goodness. i thought we’d play board games and have a fun time on such a rainy night, but then the power goes out !! ”
camryn turned on her flash light on her phone and shrugged. “hey it’s alright, I have this on my phone.. I love thunderstorms though. so I don’t mind it.” she smiled small and looked around.

“ oh for sure !! “ she agreed in that cheery tone of hers. A bright smile lingering against her full lips walking the brunette up to the counter she had become quite acquainted with. “ with that being said, what would you like ?? my shout. “
“good, I’m glad we both agree!” cam nodded and smiled small. “oh no - I can pay!” she insisted and then hummed as she looked up at the menu. “honestly, I’m good with just a small iced coffee.”

“oh I totally will, seems like you can be a great friend!” camryn chuckled and smiled small. “it feels like after this, we will be hanging out again.” she then nodded quickly. “yeah! I feel the same. can’t go a day without coffee.”
Favourite memory you have?
I think my favorite memory will have to be meeting my favorite author of all time susane colasanti. went to one of her book signings and got her autograph and a picture. it was the best day of my life!
