Hoppy Halloween! 🎃👻💀Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale - 5.5% ABV. A perfect Halloween beer to go along with some Rocky Horror. Brewed with pumpkin and spices, it has plenty of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and allspice, along with a good malty backbone. Much better than a pumpkin spice latte.

We stopped by Churchkey Brewery in Campbellford yesterday and chatted with owner John Graham. Their CSIS stout (Canadian style imperial stout) is excellent and has ingredients from every province, including oyster shells, maple syrup and honey. Also, try the Holy Smoke. It's like drinking a pint of smoked meat. It's intense, but absolutely delicious. (at Church-Key Brewing)

Got into some amazing beers tonight with @noleypoo! Abe Erb Mango Milkshake IPA - 4.9% ABV, Block 3 Hype on Blackberries Foeder Aged Rustic Saison - 6.5% ABV, Sawdust City Juicin' New England Style IPA - 6.0% ABV, Block 3 Sour Goldie Sour Barrel-Aged Belgian Golden Ale, and Block 3 The Epic Chardonnay Barrel Aged Saison Re-fermented in Bottle - 8.5% ABV.

Stopped by @highlanderbrew in South River yesterday. Their new facility has an event space you can rent for free! Try the Blacksmith Smoked Porter. It has notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, smoked peat, and a hint of caramel, topped by a thick, creamy head. I'm also exited to try this Spring ale brewed with wintergreen and Labrador tea.
