Setting down the shirt, he whirled about, searching the racks for another option. “Or maybe you want something a little brighter? You always need to check the how the undertones in your skin match with the colour of the shirt.”

He handed them a few other shirts, and after a moment of thinking, two pairs of shorts. “Judging by what you have on now, your’e not from around here, are you?” Shifting his weight to one leg, he holds out a hand, head tilting to the side and a smile gracing his features.

“I’m Ilima, it’s always nice to see people enjoying the warm Alolan sun.”

If we’re going off of his bedroom, Ilima’s home would look like a palace. He has a canopy bed, with luscious curtains, underneath is a plush furry rug, the bed itself has more pillows than one person could ever use, and a big fluffy duvet.

He has a vanity in his room, a cool fancy one that has all of his makeup on it (similar looking to this one). Of course a decent sized (meaning at least 60 inch) TV is in his room, but he only has older systems as he doesn’t play video games much. 

His personal living area is very lush and “spoiled” looking. He has a royality aesthetic.

The rest of his house is really up to Diantha. Unlike Ilima, she has a taste for things not gaudy. Their house in Alola has a very homey, warm, and welcome feel to it. While their house in Kalos sticks to modernized traditional Kalosian aesthetics.

♆ The worst kind of neighbor they could have, and how they deal with them

The worst kind of neighbor Ilima could have would be the kind that didn’t take care of their property, one that all their stuff slowly made it’s way into his yard. And I don’t just mean like occasionally they toss a ball in his back yard and ask for it back. No. 

 I mean they let their trees and bushes run wild, never trimmed or taken care of. Their house needs repairs, visible ones, but they never get fixed. Rubbish collects in their yard and never gets cleaned up. He would lose his mind. How dare someone ruin his beautiful house with the ugly one?

These people could be the most wonderful people he’s  ever met, but because their house is ugly as shit, he hates them. In terms of dealing with them, he would subtly hint that things should get cleaned up, and if that doesn’t work he would give an “anonymous” tip that the house was unfit for living.

                                    Youtube || Headcanon Tag

Despite it not being his most used form of social media (Instagram is!), Ilima very much enjoys making a multitude of Youtube videos. It’s not uncommon in the pokemon world for gym leaders, prominent trainers, and even just regular people to have popular youtube channels. From training tips and tricks, to gaming, and to even lore speculation and theorist youtubers, there’s a wide array of subjects to chose from. The most popular youtube channel in the pokemon universe is has over 17,000,000 subscribers. This channel happens to be run by Green Oak.

Ilima only has one channel and can be found under the username he uses for all his social media, Ilimasworld. His signature social media handle was thought up when he was 12, so give him some slack. His channel which doesn’t have a upload schedule, boasts a variety of youtube videos. His most popular are his beauty vlogs (showing his daily makeup routines), battle tips and tricks, and even daily vlogs (especially ones with his mother in them). He once uploaded a gaming video, of him and Hau playing Dead Space (2008),  and it currently sits at the top of his most watched videos with 2.5 million views. He was scared so bad, it was his first and currently last gaming video.

His channel sits at 450,000 subscribers. He films and edits all his videos by himself, so don’t expect anything special. His favourite videos to do are battle recap videos, where he brings a special guest onto the channel, battles them, and then goes back with them to go over what was done wrong or could be done better in post commentary. The ones with Professor Kukui are always the most popular out of them all. Though sometimes he also commentates professional battles from other regions, explaining each pokemon and their moves. It helps him learn, and the videos are popular amongst new or aspiring trainers of all ages. His mother is a common guest on his channel, usually only in fashion and makeup videos; he has yet to battle her on his channel despite numerous requests.
