One of my favorite toys ever was 2 clear green rubber mini alligators I got from a capsule vending machine at a Super-Valu I went to with my grandfather and a blue rubber shark I got from a better vending machine at Sergeant Singers. My mom finally found them in a drawer with the glow in the dark Great White shark got free from saving fruit snack UPCs.

My parents were startled in grade school to find out how fast I picked up the proof of purchase for merchandise hustle that could never exist today bc they even gave you free shipping. When their 1st grader suddenly had a bunch of packages.
