Teh group spoke among themselves before pushing Juuzou out and then disappearing. None of them were as outgoing as the small raven anyways. Tweek maybe but Juuzou was far more friendly than even Tweek.

Pace tucks his hands behind his back and grins happily, cocking his head to the side. “The zoo sounds fun! It’s nice to meet you Juuzou, I don’t know what a ghoul investigator is, but you seem nice.”

Pace takes a risk and scoots a little closer, touching the blonde’s shoulder very gently and offering a smile. “I’ve moved to a lot of places and there’s a lot of people that don’t have any good that come out of their lives. They just march through the world only for themselves but it sounds like you take care of people.” 

The teen smiles a little wider and nudges their shoulders together. “That’s something to be commended for.”

“Oh hello, hello!” The blue demon pounds forward and sniffs around the other curiously. “I’m Pace…you smell…pretty important…who are you?”

Damien’s eyebrows shot up.  He had seen quiet a few things, but certainly not something like this. Then again, he didn’t pay attention to most things that happened in Hell or other worlds or whatever. 

“Future ruler of Hell. What are you?”

“I’m a Pace...or well...my name is Pace.” The demon reaches down and brushes his hands over his coat, slowly piecing back together his glamour to look like a human again. He tucks a strand of hair behind one pointed ear and smiles sunnily. “I’m a demon. You...kind of smelled like one too.”

“…Kenny…” the blond answered carefully towards the other male. Pace was his name? Interesting name for a new person that he ever knew. There was a pause before he finished.

“..People around here just call me Kenny McWhormick…” Though that wasn’t his real name..

Pace blinks confusedly at the name and then shrugs. “I like the name Kenny, it’s a bright sounding name.” He moves a little closer, cautiously. “I’m new around here…I move around a lot.” He sits down on the curb, straightening out his coat a little bit. “Is this a nice town, Kenny?”

“It’s a fucked up one,” Kenny replied casually, knowing not many people visited in South park. Little town full of “Friendly faced everywhere, humble folks without temptation”. Man what a lie that was. “To be honest, a complete dump hole and not really sure what brings a good looking and sane person like yourself around here..”

The teen listens quietly, chin propped up on his fits before shrugging his shoulders slightly. “Like I said I move around a lot, this was just the next place on the road I guess.” The rest of the sentence filters slowly and Pace stops short, blushing brightly. “Good looking and sane? You seem plenty of both of those and you’re still here.”

“…Kenny…” the blond answered carefully towards the other male. Pace was his name? Interesting name for a new person that he ever knew. There was a pause before he finished.

Pace watches the blonde with big red eyes for a moment before deciding to approach. He fidgets uneasily, tucking his hands behind his back. “You don’t…need to be alone…I’ll talk to you!” He smiles sheepishly and ducks his head slightly. “I’m a good listener.”

Oh…this person was new..? 

“…and why do you say that..?” Kenny asked, eyes scanning over this unknown male with unsure blue eyes.

“I’m just...good at listening to people when they need to talk. And I don’t like being alone either...” Pace tried his best not to flinch at being observed so closely, but he kept up his small smile. 

“My name is Pace, what’s yours?”

Pace blushes just a little bit purple, smiling a little bit wider. He flicks his tail forward and giggles. “Yeah sure! Have you never met anyone with a tail?”

“Oooh, cool!” Kyle grabs the tail, stroking it lightly with his fingers. “Yeah, I have.. but.. uh.. rarely. I haven’t seen one like this before though,” he grinned. “What are you? What’s your name? I’m Kyle!”

The demon giggles. “My name’s Pace. Pace Conrad, it’s nice to meet you.” He loops the tip of his tail around the elf’s hand and shakes it with that, giggling happily at someone not being afraid of him in demon form. “I’m a demon, a Charon demon. What are you, Kyle?”

“Hello lello!” The teen tucks some of his white bangs behind one of his ears, sticking with his human form for right now. “Why the long face?”
