The game was only popular with older crowds.  It was a bit more… scary? Cat didn’t quite think that was the correct word, but she went with it.  Pretty similar in difficulty to Hero’s Duty, but with more people and less Cybug things.  So… more bloody.  That might be the better explanation.

"It’d be cooler if the game cops didn’t feel the need to keep bugging the criminal characters even when the arcade’s closed.  They’re just mad they’re not the main characters even though they’re supposed to be the good guys.”

A glitch rippled through her body, one that Vanellope, surprisingly, didn't notice. Vanellope could relate. She didn't know if she'd consider herself a bad guy but despite not being an actual character of the game, the other racers loved to pick on her no matter the time of day. Not that she would disclose such information to this character she'd just met.

"Uncool! Y' should show 'em who's boss!"

"Delicious? Y' can eat it. I wouldn't, but I'm not the one that's gonna blow up."

Suppose it would make sense that going turbo would mean something along the lines of 'get me out of this game fast'. She didn't think about it too much. An amused smirk at the fairy's sudden franticness.

Well, basically everything from Vanellope's point of view. Maybe she would be more inclined to bring Ribbon back home if she could actually see it herself. That was impossible, however. Stupid firewall... stupid glitch.
