Employee Confession

Christen Wegener:

"When I was really young, I wanted some Sixlets from the gas station. My mom wouldn't buy them for me, so I stuffed them in my pocket when she wasn't looking. She was, obviously, furious. She set them on the kitchen table so we'd remember to return them later, but before we got the chance, my brother ate them. When my dad found out, he asked me if I was ashamed of what I'd done. I said no, I just wished I had the candy."

Reindeer Games

Barbara Alexander:

"Last year I got different flavors of candy sticks, crushed them up, and had the grandkids guess the flavors. I thought it would be a one-time thing, but this morning the six- and eight-year-olds asked their mom, 'Is Grandma gonna have the candy guessing game this year?' I guess I started a tradition."
