"The women's basketball team can't start a game without your green jelly beans."
Overheard conversation:
Daughter: "Have you ever had these chocolate-covered gummy bears?"
Mother: "Please. I could eat chocolate-covered toxic waste."

Employee Confession
Christen Wegener:
"When I was really young, I wanted some Sixlets from the gas station. My mom wouldn't buy them for me, so I stuffed them in my pocket when she wasn't looking. She was, obviously, furious. She set them on the kitchen table so we'd remember to return them later, but before we got the chance, my brother ate them. When my dad found out, he asked me if I was ashamed of what I'd done. I said no, I just wished I had the candy."
Quick! The Sixlets are getting away!!!

"When I was a kid, I'd heat up some water in my tea cup and drop a few Fizzies in it. I'd pretend it was my coffee."
"Kids have fun with Fizzies!" (Little-known secret: adults do too.)

Debra Donohue:
"We'd have some hard candies on the table at Christmas and all of us would eat the same few kinds. At the end, there'd just be licorice pieces left in the bowl. I always felt bad for the candy nobody ate."

Barbara Alexander:
"Last year I got different flavors of candy sticks, crushed them up, and had the grandkids guess the flavors. I thought it would be a one-time thing, but this morning the six- and eight-year-olds asked their mom, 'Is Grandma gonna have the candy guessing game this year?' I guess I started a tradition."

"Woohoo! My four year-old Wyatt slept in his own bed last night, so now he needs a treat!"
Hahn's son Wyatt, who has been a good boy. Wyatt will be rewarded with jelly beans tonight--shh! Don't tell!

"Buying these [Jumbo Jelly Beans] for my boss. He loves them!"
Pictured: Black Licorice Jumbo Jelly Beans, one of our most popular flavors. Jumbo Jelly Beans are always available bagged, and select flavors can be purchased in gift-ready jars as well.

"Grandpa always had Bit-O-Honey in his pocket...probably because it was packaged in several pieces and he could share with more than one child at once (1950s)."
