**URGENT MEDICAL FUNDING NEEDED to SAVE NALA**
**URGENT MEDICAL FUNDING NEEDED to SAVE NALA**
On MondayJanuary 28, CCR received a call from a vet in SC who helped a CCR dog tremendously a few years ago (remember Pumpkin who as hit by the car and the owner couldn’t afford vetting so he made his own splint at home for a compound fracture?) This time, another emergency….. Nala was picked up by a good samaritan 1 day prior, after she was observed to walk into the middle of the highway and…

Ace- TX Ace is a handsome, solid black (and shiny at that!) Cane Corso. We estimate Ace to be under 2yrs old.
Such a good girl for Dr J!
Gypsy strives to be like her foster siblings.
Gypsy was literally tossed into the hands of a good samaritan at the young age of 7wks, as this person walked by a parked vehicle with the back hatch open. Sadly, her brother had been thrown into the arms of another stranger and was long gone by the time Gypsy was handed over. Gypsy’s good samaritan contacted CCR and she was brought into foster care. Gypsy’s story is very interesting. Not only was she accompanied with vaccine record, but she had a health certificate from NJ, 3 weeks prior! TRANSPORTED AT 5wks? CCR is still trying to figure out her story but there is one thing clear, Gypsy will NEVER EVER be tossed around. She will always be loved, cared for, and adored and CCR will make sure of that!
We are pretty sure that Gypsy was “thrown out” because she has cleft nose, cleft lip, and cleft gum (we are actually very grateful that it is as minor as it is. Many pups have cleft palate and die from aspirating while eating). As you can see in the first photo, she has a tiny hole above her front teeth and her front teeth are growing into each other. Surgery is needed IMMEDIATELY! Please consider contributing to Gypsy’s surgery. We anticipate it will cost about $500. Any amount will help us and we are so grateful to you. The surgery will remove her front teeth and repair the hole so that she does not suffer from infections. Thank you for your support! We look forwarding to sharing updates on our sweet Gypsy girl who will go up for adoption as soon as she has recovered from surgery!
To donate to Gypsy’s surgery, please click on the DONATE button at the top right OR paypal funds to [email protected]. Contact us to Venmo a donation! Cane Corso Rescue Inc is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your donation is tax deductible to the maximum amount allowed by law. Thank you for your support!
Gypsy NEEDS oral surgery to repair her cleft gum! Gypsy was literally tossed into the hands of a good samaritan at the young age of 7wks, as this person walked by a parked vehicle with the back hatch open.

Get Maggie ready for Adoption!
Fundraiser to Help Maggie get the surgery she needs!
Biscotti (now called Maggie) is a very sweet gal who was abandoned last winter in a dog park by her owners. It didn’t take long before a good Samaritan saw this sweet girl all alone as all the other dogs were being taken home for the evening by their owners. By the end of the night it was obvious – her owners weren’t coming back for her. Thankfully for this amazingly sweet girl, there was a…

Poor Stormy is in dire need of help. Stormy was pulled from a high kill shelter in New York after being found roaming a school yard looking for a friend. He has been very patiently waiting his turn in boarding care for a family to come along and give him a chance. Now his life is in danger as he is very sick. About 10 days ago, Stormy stopped eating like he used to which is very unlike him as it is his favorite time of day!! He was taken to the vet were it was discovered he had a fever, and likely some sort of infection. He was send back home with antibiotics and seemingly more pep in his step. Sadly, Thursday he stopped eating again and was taken again to a different vet. At this vet it was discovered that poor Stormy has been dealing with an intestinal blockage. X-rays revealed an object lodged in the very beginning of his small intestine. Stormy WILL NOT LIVE if we cannot get his this desperately needed surgery in the next few days. He has lost 25 lbs in the last 10 days and is struggling to hold on. Last night he was moved to an emergency foster who has more than 10 years experience in the veterinary field as a vet tech and has been supplying him with MUCH needed fluids and force feeding him nutrient rich gruel to try and keep him going until surgery can be provided.
We know that it is a lot to ask for one dog, but we need to raise at least $2o00 to be able to get Stormy in for surgery. This poor boy has never been given the chance to be in a family home and feel a warm bed and love. At only 2-3 years old he has great odds of recovering and living a long and happy life. Please help us give this sweet boy a chance at the life he truly deserves.
