I’ve had this photo for years, and I’ve never figured out just what those loincloth-like things are that most of these guys are wearing. Edited to add: Our frequent contributor of knowledge perfectspecimens2 kindly wrote to tell us that those are German WWII soldiers wearing their “brotbeutel” or bread bag, a part of their uniform used to carry food. Thanks!

We are way overdue for a day of the derriere, and all of today’s pictures are by one artist of some of his lesser known models. Bruce Bellas, better known as Bruce of LA, was a pioneer physique photographer who was jailed several times for distributing his nude photos of men. Although it was mostly frontal nudity that got him arrested, it occurred to me that his pictures of men’s backsides are simply the best.
