WOOP! We’re thrilled long time #CANNT Supporters SheSays will be taking to the stage at our CANNT Be Divided event on the 21st June 2017 at Publics UK (82 Baker Street).

They’ll be running truly stimulating panel discussion ‘LOVE it or LEAVE it’ on how content has the potential to bring challenging audiences together, with Marcie MacLellan of Frank & Lively and SheSays, Fiona Harrington of Salt.TV, Richard Hale of The ZOO at Google and Charlotte Diemer of Teads.TV.

CANNT Cannes You Kick It?

Young Creative Council are BACK!

They’re calling upon all awesome young and unrepresented shit hot creatives to come and dive right into the seats of creatives that have swanned of to pick up their shiny awards at Cannes. We've already got some stellar agencies lined up for you to head into, all you have to do is show us how incredible you are.

The application process is nice and easy just head over to THIS, and ping in your deets. Then we'll get in touch if you're shortlisted. Make sure you only sign up if you're available the week commencing the 19th June, and this is a paid placement meeting the Placement Poverty Pledge minimum of £390 for the week.

21st June: CANNT Be Divided

A CANNT collaboration with Facebook Cannected and Publicis UK

A inspiring conference of 6 talks to celebrate the connecting power of creativity, covering topics from Unforgettable Experiences, Crafting Content, AI vs VR, what’s winning at Cannes Lions, to a special Publicis UK Lift The Lid on a recent lauded campaign.

The CANNT Get Noticed Awards

Working with Creative Equals, Facebook will introduce their Mobile Folio competition to win £2000 media value, and a one-on-one with a leading Creative leader for the best book created with the canvas ad format. Facebook will be sharing demos of the new format, and will include advice from respected Creative Directors as to what they look for in a folio. Open to students, agencies and prodution houses.

CANNT Speed Critique

Fast paced and dirty, Havas's Speed Critique is a fresh way for young creatives to get their work in front of an assortment of top creative bosses. Each critique will last just three minutes, after which both sides decide if they want to Pass or Praise (for a full book crit).

Drinks and networking follow the sessions, on the Publicis UK roof terrace :)

Ticket Price – Includes a donation

In the spirit of #CANNT we're serving up this summer's best opportunity to learn from some amazing industry people, plus enjoy a beer or two, on amazing rooftop. We're also using the ticket price (£15) to support Creative Equals scholarship fund CANNT Get to London with a donation.

INFERENCE from SALT.TV

What is the bare minimum that you need to feel comfortable in a space? Presented by directors Beardy & Borgio, 'Inference' is a light and sound installation that manipulates the senses and challenges our perception of the world around us.

DigitasLBi will demonstrate a rapid and code-free prototype which uses brainwave activity to alter visual animations and special effects.

GROUP VR PLAY

Come and experience the future as DigitasLBi invites attendees to test run a range of VR technology and experiences.

A Nowlab brainwave experiment

We test the inherent power of emotional ideas by letting our diverse jury pick the best work from the Titanium Lions using only their thoughts.

Equipped with our brain measuring technology we'll see which pieces of work from the shortlist provoke the strongest responses. And compare this with the eventual winner chosen by the esteemed Cannes Lions jury. Will it be correlation or chaos?

22nd June: CANNT Future of Influence (And the Fall of Advertising)

Brands cannot fail to recognise the increasing role in which influencers play in the marketing to modern audiences. A need for authentic stories and meaning, coupled with effective distribution has pushed influencers into the very heart of the marketing mix. The rise of the content curating, opinion forming, culture creating, influencer is disrupting existing agency and client relationships to such an extent that established thinking needs to radically change.

Our panel will debate the current and future states of influence, how far it will rise, its impact on the creative agency, what it means for content distribution, and how brands can get the best from this new and exciting landscape.
