I've officially been served an eviction summons. My case is in less than two weeks.
My name is Paz, I'm an artist currently working and going to school to survive. I've been in poverty for the past four years, and I am hitting a breaking point. I am at serious risk of being homeless.
I'm a full-time student, and I also work. My situation has been worsening since I've started this campaign. I am optimistic I'll be able to get on my feet, but things are extremely hard. My mental health has suffered tremendously from the stress of losing housing, but nonetheless I am still exploring lawyers and other contingencies. The stakes are high, an eviction could stay on my record for the next seven years, and that would severely limit my options for leasing an apartment. I am really tired and exhausted from the trap of poverty, I'm really tired.
My job does not pay enough, school is increasingly difficult and I'm still trying to fix my GPA. I feel it physically, the stress, I feel my health getting worse, I feel tenseness throughout my body. I feel like I can't catch a break. Disability also compounds all the problems laid out. More than anything, I just want honest work with good pay, and I want to make comics on my time off. Art has been a refuge, and it's always nice when others like and share my posts. It makes me happy.
Sorry for the GFM posts, I'm just doing everything I can right now to not fall apart. I'm looking for another job, but the job market is really bad. I currently have commissions open, but they will be severely delayed due to court and my life circumstances more generally. Sorry to anyone currently taking a slot waiting for a commission update, I promise I haven't forgotten about you, I'm just prioritizing my current situation. I hope you understand. We have been displaced more than 7 times. We live in a tent that lacks all the necessities of life. There is no clean water & we can barely get some food & water. We suffer from the heat of the sun in the summer & now the winter season is coming & our tents are flooded with rainwater.

Because of the war & displacement, we lost our jobs & salaries, & our house was destroyed during the bombing of a residential building next to it. There has been no electricity for a year.
Houses are being bombed around us by planes & tanks, & many of our friends & family members have been killed.

Car repairs needed asap to maintain income and general survival
This is our only vehicle and we have no choice but to get it fixed; we do not have sufficient public transit nor is it possible to bike/walk anywhere from where we live.
Red is number one priority, purple also needs to be done asap, blue needs to be done eventually but can wait. I'm only aiming for the repairs in red and purple.
We have $1800 in a credit card and $600 in the bank account to put toward it.
