Hitchin' Post Motel, 3640 Las Vegas Blvd N., North Las Vegas.

The motel opened in 1948 on the Salt Lake Hwy (US 91 & 93). A separate coffee shop was open by '55. The road was renamed Las Vegas Blvd North.

E.T. and Lila Nollner sold the 12-acre property to James & Gloria Childress in '70. Childress developed an adjacent RV park. The Coffee Shop became Hitchin' Post Saloon and Steakhouse at a later date.
