Something that I think a lot of people don’t realize, is how inexpensive it can be to cook for yourself, especially if you don’t have a large household. I got fresh salmon yesterday at Aldi for around $7.00/lb and bought enough for what I thought would be two meals, but is probably closer to three. The broccoli was a frozen bag that cost about $1.00 and again was enough for at least two meals. I already had the ingredients for the sauce at home from previous recipes. When all was said and done, the dinner you see in the picture cost me $3.00, about 20 minutes total of my time, and the way it was cooked left me with no dishes to do other than this plate.
