Andy Warhol by Duane Michals. While one might thing this is a series of long exposures, it is actually a series of multiple exposures. It makes a difference in the amount of detail the images maintain. While he is adamant about not being all about technique, Michals is still quite clever with this tools.

Fashion break: This photograph by Stephen Shore might look dreadfully boring at first glance. But keep looking. Soon you’ll notice the carefully placed lines, the color of the cars, signage and pallet of the overcast day. The high vantage point, cinematic in its placement. The petri dish of America, on display in anywheresville America. Think even more about how these cars looked to the original viewers like the cars of today. Keep thinking.
