to elaborate, this isn't an nsfw headcanon which is why im not tagging it as such; this is about doc having the same struggles as intersex people. which includes but isn't limited to:

discrimination from medical professionals, other doctors refusing to see that problems could be happening because of anything other than his physiology

harassment, misgendering and bigotry from people who don't know anything. dealing with others' lack of awareness about what "intersex" actually means

important info about himself being inaccessible due to low detail/biased documentation of people with physiology like his

and, for fun and flavor, transmasc. the difficulties with being a trans intersex person

somewhat unrelated to the point of this post but still part of this headcanon: skinner MD treats him right and is the main person doc goes to now for his own medical treatment. :]

hope you dont mind me talking about my own headcanons here,,,

I think of deimos as intersex,, and not really having a transgender experience (Apart from dysphoria here and there from not being masculine enough after puberty - his body would produce more estrogen) Becauae being made to be a succesor to phobos, the scientists would obviously want him to be male (good time to clarify my headcanons of nevada are based in around the 1950s-70sI) think theyd want to cover up him being intersex because he was sufficient in every other way and they REALLY didnt want to try make the perfect clone all over again (whole other story,,,) and it surely wasnt THAT big of a deal until deimos'voice hasnt dropped and it should have long ago and hes getting secondary female sex traits ohohshit give him testosterone injections NOW‼️‼️Kinda thing. So hed have been raised as male and all that, but never being told his body was different to most other peoples.

In saying that, i thinka lot of the first few clones would have been trangender or intersex, because of the very nature of cloning in my head, which is a whole other tangent......
