Call me crazy all you want but I believe there's a possibility Mikitaka is Kars. Proofs ? Both of them have a link to space (of Mikitaka isn't lying he literally comes from space so je can be Kars coming back on earth) and they basically have the same power. Now there's 2 possibilities :

1 : we know Kars is a mastermind and very patient when he has a plan so he could have found a way to get back on Earth with a plan, change appearance and wait for his time, and Mikitaka's weird behavior can be put on the act Kars puts on and the fact except the month he witnessed in the 1930s he has no fucking idea how modern world work so he just goes with it OR

2 : his time in space messed up big time his brain and Kars as we know did stop thinking, creating Mikitaka's personality, he end up in Morioh and just does his thing not remembering his past life
