On recent events:

A little over a week ago, some really awful news came out about a prominent member of the CT DIY scene. The band involved made a couple of very tactful statements about it, please read them. We urge everyone to follow their example in handling things peacefully. On that subject:

Thomas/ couchyetirecords and Sarah Stroh/ capitalhrecords are putting on a benefit show in the near future and putting together a zine on the subject. If you’d like to get involved, contact either of them. This endeavor has the full support of CTHouseShows and Standing Wave Promotions and I’m proud to have worked with both Tom and Sarah. It’s going to be a banger, trust me. News on that as it comes in.

CTHouseShows is and has always been committed to supporting safe spaces and only safe spaces. “Safe spaces” means safe for everybody. If you feel that anyone involved with CTHS is problematic, don’t hesitate to inform us. Please take effort to be aware and informed.
