really happy with how this is coming along!! yes it looks good on mobile and yes that button is to toggle snowflakes!!!
CURRENT PROJECT
Dark mode and light mode header on mobile
Peep the sun/moon light/dark mode toggle hehe 🤭
And the 🍔 navigation menu!!!!
I'm trying very hard to make this usable and readable on mobile but it's TOUGH akhdisjsisjsk. Ideally, I'd like to completely disable Jcink's default mobile view and rely entirely on the default a responsive default view 👁️ (I'll probably end up keeping Jcink's default mobile because I'm worried I'll forget to style a component LOL)
ANYWAY I'm slowly going to work on making this more customizable and hope to release this in the new year ✨
Styling your forum pages for mobile devices
We all know Jcink has a mobile version. And I think I speak for all of us when I say it sucks. So as I was updating my base skin, I thought I’d share my framework for styling Jcink pages on desktop mode for mobile. (aka another attempt to ask this lovely rpc to stop making me scroll sideways or zoom to use the built-in features on your forums T_T)
This is mostly a matter of targeting the right elements, stacking them, and removing any extraneous information. These are all in a media query, and it includes the codes you’ll need in your wrappers to make it work as intended. If you have any questions, feel free to @ me either here on tumblr or on discord.
There is no real styling for any of these pages, it’s just a bare bones framework to make it all work better when you’re viewing the desktop mode on your devices. So you may need to add/adjust some things to fit your skin best. Feel free to get into it and change it up for your needs!

My Favorite Forum Scripts
The unofficial part two of My Favorite Skin-Building Scripts, this is a collection of scripts that I wish more forums used! Not quite essential for building your forum, but definitely nice to have from an end user perspective. Like the post draft saver, post bookmarks, ctrl+b/i/u, etc.
These are some of my favorites from the resource forums jCodes and Sourced, both of which have a lot more codes available than the ones I pulled out as my favorites. So go check those resource forums out!
