what’s your favorite thing to do when you’re bored?

Well I’ve been trying to read more! I love audiobooks and paper books. I have a Kindle but I don’t use it a whole lot. I’ll often have a couple books going at once.

But I’ll be honest I’m big on doom scrolling lol

I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in two days.

I’ve been thinking of Aiden finally graduating from BU then afterwards what if he somehow gets a job at the Canadian Embassy in DC. He’s now in DC with Ryan.

Ryan goes crazy over the suits Aiden wears everyday.

Aiden has big events some for work here and there. When Ryan is in DC he loves to play arm candy for the evening! He gets to be his charming and goofy self, often hold his boyfriend’s hand, and ogle him while he goes on about some policy stuff.

sweet little celleno drabble bc i’m apparently very stuck on them

aiden spends quite a bit of his time in ryan’s childhood bedroom in boston during the off season and it’s decorated like any other slightly douchey teenage boy would decorate his room. navy blue sheets, stupid street signs he stole, pictures of all his BC and USNTDP boys, and, most importantly, the giant american flag hanging above the bed.

it doesn’t really bother aiden bc he obviously knows ryan’s american but he’ll make some snarky comments about it every once in a while to see ryan pout because it’s cute when his boyfriend pouts at him.

and then he comes over one day and there’s a little canadian flag hanging next to the american one. and the only tiny little addition makes aiden’s heart melt because his boyfriend is fucking sweet to him, even in all the little ways.

and ryan’s obviously kind of embarrassed about it because he blushes furiously when aiden asks about it, making his freckles stand out and his blue eyes pop. and it’s just so fucking cute that aiden tackles him onto the bed and presses kisses all over his face because he just can’t help himself.

So you know how in movies there is always a bridesmaid that jokes as out getting drunk and sleeping with a groomsman?

Okay….hear me out…. Grace Smith/Aiden Celebrini/Ryan Leonard (fmm of course💅)

You know Ryan most likely had a complex crush on his best friend’s older sister.

Ryan is a “poser lake house guy who doesn’t know shit about fishing”. However, you best believe he loves to go on fishing trips with Aiden. Does Ryan know the first thing about fishing? No. Does he care at all about catching anything? Also no. Will Ryan beg Aiden to take him fishing with him? Yes even if he is bored to death. Ryan loves fishing days because it’s quiet time with his boyfriend. He also gets to see him wear a hat backwards when he’s struggling to pull in his reel. If Ryan is really lucky, Aiden will lose his shirt and he’ll get to put sunscreen on his abs and back.

Aiden is there to fish. Does Ryan lovingly annoy the shit out of him all day? Yes.

At the end of the day when you press on the Live Photo of Aiden holding his fish you’ll catch the tail end of Ryan saying something along the lines of “that’s my man!”

Oh! And you best believe Aiden has to set a timer to reapply Ryan’s sunscreen because while he loves his freckles, his boyfriend does not need sun damage and will not think to wear any if he’s not around.

Ryan loves to use corny pickup lines on Aiden. Aiden always blushes, scoffs, or laughs depending on how bad they are.

Aiden makes a comment once about being a single dad to Cheeto which has Ryan gasping in shock and mock sadness but the conversation does turn serious. “Don’t say that. You know I wish you two were with me all the time. I wish I could come back to you two in my apartment every time.” Aiden is a little surprised because Ryan is basically telling him he wants him to move in with him in DC.

Aiden doesn’t trust Ryan in the kitchen so when they are together and Aiden is making them something, Ryan is often found with his arms around Aiden’s middle and his chin on his shoulder.

Some more Celleno thoughts:

Ryan is a sweatshirt thief. Even if Aiden is wearing the sweatshirt it’s still not safe from Ryan.

Crediting @speakteal for the orange cat dad’s idea. I feel that Ryan would pick a name like Cheeto. He also did not think long term as to what happens with Cheeto while he has away games, which is how Aiden gains majority custody of a cat his boyfriend adopted because said cat was so cute.

I think Aiden quits hockey his senior year to finish with college. Because his schedule is somewhat lighter he ends up finding himself taking more and more weekend trips to DC if Ryan is home

Aiden will get suckered into bringing Cheeto on trips so “he knows what his other dad still looks like”

Ryan is a very affectionate boyfriend who unapologetically loves Aiden

Ryan fell first and fell harder.

Aiden refuses to call him anything but Ryan. Leno is his hockey nickname and he’s not calling him that.

I love the idea of Ryan being a total simp for Aiden. I’ve been seeing tiktoks of one partner pulling their other partner through a crowd by their belt loop. Don’t save Ryan. He’s right where he wants to be.
