emira stuck out her tongue just a little bit, before answering – “it’d be like sleeping with a pig. loud and sloppy ‘cause all they are is co-cky.” she sing-songed, rolling her eyes towards the ceiling with a tiny huff. “maybe suicides from the water’s edge to the lifeguard stand, during low tide. at six in the morning. and i will do it with them – and beat them.” she finished, flipping a stray piece of hair over her shoulders, confident enough to follow through with it on monday. “but you lighten up my week babe, so– enough ‘bout me. what about your week? any unicorn sightings yet?” she teased, peppy with the sugar from her diabetes-in-a-cup.
wesley actually snorted at that — “yeah, no, not worth it. you shouldn’t subject yourself to sloppiness.” an amused smile spread across his cheeks. “can i watch? i wanna see their faces when you’re racing ahead of them.” he laughed, the comment about a unicorn making him scoff in response, though there was nothing but fondness behind it. “no unicorn sightings, no. who would’ve thought that they’re hard to catch?” he paused, but only for a second, “not much has been going on with me, though, otherwise. i’ve been kinda chill. staying at home, binging parks & rec with max. — oh! we did go to brown last weekend. college boys are insufferable.”
she laughed at Wes wanting to watch. “one, of course you can watch, I’ll have a lounge chair out for you--on moi-- and two,” she took a quick sip of her latte, before continuing, her nose scrunched up and lips twisted-- “college boys? where there’s college boys there’s frat boys and that’s just no. they have this hard time with keeping it in their pants, even when there’s nothin’ to be proud of down there.” she remarked, setting down her latte for a minute and making the cross with her fingers, before picking up the cold drink again, swirling the straw around idly. “but parks and rec, now that is yes, especially a binge watch. i can’t get over Tom, but i really love April, the bluntness. i live for it.”
