Asmodeus stood holding little Violet giving her kisses on her head and singing to her as he looked out over the ocean. That was when he saw them, sails billowing out across the horizon. “Nabe my love.” He called to his wife. 

On the deck Blake stood spyglass in hand and looking out to the island ahead. Sailing aside them was the Jolly Roger. “Land ahead! Make ready to your stations!”

Carmin looked at Blake before turning to Roy the two had an unspoken agreement that they would be protecting Blake no matter what.

Nabe had been getting ready for the evening when she joined Asmodeus in ghe window only to see the sails herself.

"I knew the isle would find us eventually," she admitted sighing a bit

Violet squealed and reached up for hwr mother, nabe smiled and kissed her forehead before she looked at Asmodeus

"I'll raise the troops, you take her and Aisha and hide."

I still get that thrill; I guess it’s like escapism at its finest. On the acting side, my favourite thing is when I truly lose myself in a scene, when I forget that I’m on a set. It’s only truly happened a few times in my whole career, where I’ve genuinely forgotten I was on a set, forgotten that I’m not that character, forgot that it wasn’t that time, or that place. That’s the best feeling in the world. Better than skydiving; it’s like the most exhilarating thing to experience. Happy 28th birthday, Margot Robbie! (July 2, 1990)

Artemis looked to Kal, “Is so glad you could make it.” She smiled big, “Have you met my sister Ponyo?” Artemis asked as she was sitting having her hair braided and done up with flowers.

“are you excited?” Ponyo aksed her finally attempting to break the silence she knew Artemis was disappointed that Atlas hadn’t arrived yet, especially where Gracia and Damian already had.

Carmin smiled at him

“thank you, I’m sure he appreciates it.” She told him before she headed back to blake

“they’ll be bringing some shortly,”

“I am,” Artemis assured her, “I just, I know it is selfish I just wish that Atlas was here even for a moment. He is my oldest friend and-” She took a deep breath so as not to start crying. “I just wish he was here.”

“Thank you Carmin,” Blake swallowed. “Did you see her? Did she look well?” Concern ever present on his face.

Carmin smiled and shook her head at him

“no I only saw Lord Starkey, relax Blake nothing is going to happen” carmin assured him smiling “they’re waiting for the rest of the guests to show up before we begin, just relax okay?” She assured him motioning for Blake to take a seat

Ponyo set Ali aside gently before she stood and hugged Artemis to comfort her

“I’m sure he is coming,” ponyo said softly to her as she gently rubbed her back

Blake nodded and took a seat again drinking the tea as soon as the servant brought it.

Artemis hugged her Sister a few tears coming out as she did so. “I’m sorry, my emotions are everywhere.” 

Jack poked his head in where Blake and his friends were waiting, “Guests have arrived, we begin in a few minutes.”

“nu uh” Ali said quickly “Atlas isn’t here, auntie is upset so we can’t start!” Ali told him ponyo sighed a bit and looked at jack

“I love you dear and I mean this in the most loving way possible, you have the worst timing” ponyo told him

Carmin smiled

“don’t worry everything is going to be okay I promise. I won’t let anything happen to you or her on your wedding day”

“I’m sorry about that, the timing,” He held up his hands. “Now then Blake is going down the aisle as we speak and so we need the flower girl. Where’s your Father.”

“Here! Here!” Flint said. “I found it,” He pulled out a necklace. “Something borrowed. It was your Mother’s Artemis. I found it at last. She wore it on our wedding day.” He put it around her neck. “Now then are you ready my dear?” Flint asked holding out his arm.

Artemis nodded, “I am.”

“Then why don’t we start on the right foot.” He smiled taking a step forward with his right foot as Artemis did.

Blake stood breathing in and out, he was nervous, he was ready for all of this to be over with as once it was over then that meant that all involved was safe. “Let me know when she is walking down the aisle.” He asked Carmin who was his best woman.

Carmin nodded a bit and stood by his side watching as Ali walked next tossing flower petals up over her head and carmin couldn’t help but laugh at the little one

“you’re certainly marrying into an interesting family Blake, your flower girl is going to run out of petals before she reaches the end” carmin said laughing

Blake couldn’t help the chuckle.

Flint and Artemis came to the doorway and Artemis tightened her grip on his arm. “Daddy.”

Flint looked to his youngest, “Yes?”

“Thank you for being here for me.” Artemis nodded.

“I will always be here for you.” Flint patted her hand with his before they continued walking.

Blake heard the gasps and murmurs about how lovely the bride looked and looked to Carmin ready for the signal.

"you're a very lucky man Blake," she told him though she knew he didn't need her to tell him
