Why is Lev getting the better gay love interest and storyline than Marty? Lev and Xander are hot together, so i will get over it. I'm still wanting Marty to be happy. Will be interesting to see Marty's reaction to Lev's sexuality.

I saw a complaint on twitter that Holby City won't be worth watching once it drops to 40 minute episodes later this year. I mean really??? That's a reason for not watching? Some people want to complain for no good reason.

just read something from a few months ago, that Lee Mead said he would not want to return to play Lofty on Holby City or Casualty, but then said he might if a new producer asked him, too. This makes me think he was unhappy of Lofty's character development by the current producers. He did say he thought Dom and Lofty ran its course and wouldn't want to revisit that relationship.

Isn't Kathy the nurse that Dom asked to take Lofty's shift so he could go to Wales with him? I guess they like to gossip about each other.

I was getting angry at Mr. Diversity and Mr. Mushroom talking down on my boy, Rash, but i calmed down at the end of the episode. I really liked Connie's support of Rash.

i take back Marty being Dom 2.0, because he doesn't get to have gay white male privilege. Dom has got it a lot easier.

so now dom is playing helen, ben is playing lofty, and essie is playing dom in this new triangle. dom loses out in both scenerios.

Marty is Dom 2.0 The tragic gay with self esteem and daddy issues who attract the wrong type of men who treat them badly. This is so tired and boring lazy story writing that you see in almost every gay storyline, nowadays.

Marty, there are non white gays that are pretty decent guys, maybe even some with Iranian descent. if you are looking for your white saviour to fix your daddy issues, you will be continually sad and alone.

As much as I wanted the Dofty divorce, I'm still sad to see it end. I guess I'm mostly upset how depressing and sad the writers made their marriage after such a great build-up of their relationship. The story arc of Dom's loneliness and sadness will even be worse after divorce. Is Dom's whole purpose of a character to show that gay men can't truly find love and happiness? It's a demoralizing message. Even though it was part of a joke, my favorite quote of the year is, "My identity is based on not getting what I want." I feel like Dom fits that very well, and me also.

I was wrong when I said that the writer's ruined Lofty's character. This has always been Lofty's character. I along, with Dom was fooled by his kindness and sweetness and gentle way, but the signs were always there. Lofty is one of the most selfish characters I've seen. He always runs away from his problems and somehow blames others for his shortcomings and with Dom, turns it around and makes it seems like its Dom's fault. He jilted Alice at the altar, had an affair with Helen who fell in love with him, and then he brushes her aside after his own selfish needs were met, while cheating on Dom. He has always manipulated Dom in getting his way, almost as bad as Isaac. He ran away from his job and relocated to another country when he accidently killed a nurse. He runs away from Grizelda, who was interested in him, after manipulating her for free tickets for Dom. He runs away from Dom when any issue he is uncomfortable with occurs. Sheilagh Chiltern, your grandson is no goody-two shoes, and Dom, your husband is as far away as possible from being perfect. Lofty came on Casualty by breaking in Robyn's flat whenever she wasn't there, so that was a bad sign right there. The narrative that Lofty's character was ruined by the writers is just not true. A lot of us, along with Dom, was just too blind and infatuated to see it. The writers did a good,complex job of fooling us all.

Was there ever confirmation of who's Dom's biological father, or did i miss an episode?

After the great slow burn of Dom and Lofty, they have had one of the WORST, first year marriages i have ever seen. First year anniversary is coming up and their year was crap. And just stop planning all these great couple getaways and vacations, cause they never happen. They are the most miserable couple, now.

When is this Ben Sherwood character suppose to appear on this show so he can break up Dom and Lofty ASAP.

Dofty predictions?

So I know nothing is happening for the next few weeks with Dofty while we wrap up the Chloe and Evan nightmare on Holby.

I’m wondering what people think the long term plan is for Dofty?    End game or not?   are they bringing in a new love interest for Dom with this new guy Ben?   Will the baby revelation break up Dofty?  part of me predicts Dofty will split for a while and then maybe reunite around New year, along with Dom delivering and bonding with the baby cliche, and Lofty realising there is more than one way to create a family.  The other part of me wonders if the producers are moving in a different direction.   Kate Oates has done such a great job with Ballum on eastenders, I am just wondering why Dofty has been such a mess since Christmas.   Thoughts?  Does anyone still care ?

Ben will break them up. The actor is gay and most likely his character is gay because his past roles have been gay, so of course, he will have a hot kiss with Dom. I'm actually all for it. i just hope he's a good guy.

Even though I don't care as much, I hope Dom and Lofty is not all about the baby this autumn. Wishing they would bring on an ex more like Kyle, than Isaac, to shake things up in their relationship, to possibly break them up.
