Clarkmary is less obviously saucy than other ships so I don't blame anyone for sleeping on it. But when you factor in that Mary seems to find genuine comfort and reassurance in maladaptivly role playing as Clark's wife as he yells at her, I think it adds some sauce back in.

I don't think Clark was even eating the still lifes because he was hungry. I think he just wanted to. He could've left at any time to get food and come back but he didn't.

I wholeheartedly disagree with anyone saying that the movie/the concept of backrooms/"liminal" horror in general is better without a monster. What's the point if there's not a monster? Is that not the logical next step to trapping someone in a maze?? You put a thing in there so the people in your maze can run around.
