He hosts live interactive classes online, which sounds super fun and exciting, and a lot more effective than traditional study methods! My first personal illustration in months!

I made the first sketch of this piece last year. I love Alma Tadema’s work, his beautiful compositions, the way he paints fabric and marble and surfaces and pretty much everything else that looks so detailed and effortlessly rendered. 

So, yeah, I’ve learned so much by studying his paintings (but not enough, I’m a slow learner) and I took a lot of inspiration to make this illustration.
