How lovely, he thought. They were in more than one class, and he was relieved partially because he wasn’t all too comfortable in this town yet ( no thanks to creepy encounters; like that crazy blonde barbie and that pink haired pimp! ) so to have somebody he did know relatively well, things seemed more at ease. A light wave to indicate the dismissal of the subject after he says:
❝ That’s great! —— I’m so glad, aren’t you? I hope we find more we know along the way! Oooh, and here comes the cafeteria. What are you in a mood to eat, huh? —— It’ll be my treat. ❞
Maybe it just took some adapting to be able to live around Oikawa for a long time, he guessed. He had Iwaizumi-kun's number in his phone so he'd make sure to give him a call asking for some advice as soon as they parted ways. But well, as difficult as it was for him to keep his mood up with somebody like the setter around and out of the court, Daichi couldn't say he wasn't happy to have somebody he knew around. It was a weird relief, but one nonetheless. When he heard the offer he looked over at Oikawa with a weird and slightly uncomfortable look on his face. Was he genuinely happy he was there or was this just a scheme? Whatever it was, he wasn't in the mood to figure it out right now, and he was offering free food after all.
"Mmm maybe a sandwich and some salad? that sound alright?" Putting aside Shimizu's meal menu for a while couldn't hurt, right? "By the way, when do you usually train? are we allowed to go on morning jogs here?"
