Throughout the years ever since Clark was born, there had been speculation going on in tabloids that the boy wasn’t her husband’s and sadly, that had been  true. Though, it’s never been confirmed. Chloe made sure that if she ever planned on telling everyone about it that she’d tell her family first before it got out to the public. ❛ Hey, uh, what are you doing? I wanted to see what would happen next! ❜  Pouted the brunette. That surely wasn’t true but it’d beat having a talk with him. ❛ No.. Not that I know of.. Brett, are you okay? You’ve been ACTING weird these past few days.. Something up? ❜ She asked, gently placing a hand on his face in attempt for him to look at her.

Many thoughts ran through her head as she sat next to her husband, they were supposed to have been watching a film but unfortunately her head was elsewhere. The past few days had been a bit hazy with Clark getting into fights and everyone questioning the mystery that happened years ago. Her biggest mistake, her affair with Luke. It was a pain having to lie to everyone about it but she knew it was the best thing to do as a result in keeping peace with the family. Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she snapped out of her thoughts and glanced over at him, slowly forcing a smile herself. ❛ Hm? ❜ Her guesses were that he was going to ask her a question about the movie but her forced smile slowly started to fade as the question was about their son. Her HEARTdropped, could he have known what it was about? Could he possibly know about her secret? Was that why he had been acting weird lately? So many unanswered questions ran through her mind. She gulped,  ❛ Oh, um, yeah. So not like him. ❜

❛   and did you hear hear the reason ?  that’s bullshit. ❜   he raises a brow in surprise and laughs genuinely. leaning back into couch with a slightly perplexed. feelings getting involved. he remains silent while waiting for a response. he tries to understand where the line between truth and lies go, which could be anywhere. he was wanting learn the truth but  at the same time he wasn’t. some things are better kept secret. for be happy & serene. there was a film on the tv but they weren’t watching, that was definite. he closes the film on turn into his wife. ❛   well, i missed you. let’s talk a little. that’d better than watching film.  ❜   a pause. plays a reassuring smile on his face and takes a breath.❛   is there anything you wanna talk with me or say to me ?  you know, we didn’t talk like this a long time. ❜
