The other week me and a friend went to where Yoshiwara was in order to visit the landmarks that still remain, and to visit a mass grave that exists for all of the girls who did not have families to care for them in the afterlife. The grave contains the remains of around 25,000 such girls.

I went to the Ghibli exhibition earlier this week in Mori Tower! The exhibition was on the 52nd floor, we went around sunset so the view was amazing. I love this city.

Its been ages since I last wore lolita. Also there’s a new Barbie purikura machine about at the moment where you can take ‘hakopuri’. i.e. it’ll stick you in a doll box. Puri machines always stretch dress prints lol.

Recently I’ve taken to studying or reading the in the Coffee Prince Gardens cafe in Shinokubo. The staff there are all really nice…and they remember me because I’m that person who makes weird latte art requests.

I have a habit of asking for ‘something scary’ on my coffee when I realise the shop does art, partly because I’m interested to see what they will draw and partly because I don’t really like cute characters :/. Normally I get cute monsters or creepy/cute things. This was the first time I was genuinely freaked out by my coffee!

If you’re ever in the area I recommend it! Their binsu is really nice too, especially given how hot the weather has been.
