IMPORTANT NOTICE FOLLOWERS! Blue Planet 2 has come out and it is LITERALLY THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER. Such amazing footage, I cried from the beauty and the jealousness I had for the divers and camera people who got to witness it in person.
I think it provides such valuable information, and thus for educational purposes, I have found you some links to episode 1 “One Ocean”. PARENTAL WARNING: These websites have pop-ups and adult ads, so be careful of spam. But this is the price to pay for FREE.

vampire squid
Just absolutely Gorgeous! One of the most interesting and some what creepy Cephalopods in the ocean. Fun Fact the Vampire squid when startled they turn themselves inside out to look like a ball of spikes to try and scare would be predators
WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT:The mass slaughter of whales and dolphins on the Faroe Islands is laid bare by these gruesome photographs, taken by Sea Shepherd Global.
It’s about that time of year again when the Faroe Islands conduct their excessive mass killing in the name of tradition.
Well this isn’t good at all! I mean come now Whales and Dolphins are awesome why would you want to kill them... I’d say try hunting sharks instead but they are awesome too and after the whole shark scare with Jaws i think we killed enough sharks for right now....
Okay this technically isn’t Marine Biology i believe but I would say that this is pretty interesting. This here what you are hearing is called the “Up Sweep” Discovered in August of 1991 picked up by American NOAA's equatorial autonomous hydrophone arrays. This sound seems to have baffled some scientists in trying to discover it’s origin. The sound seems to stay in the Pacific ocean around 54 - South, 140- west. The speculation seems to be due to volcanic activity in the area, but oddly enough the sound seems to be seasonal, reaching it’s peak in the Autumn months. Now I don’t claim to be an expert on this subject but I am doing some research on it and this it what i found for the most part. If I have any incorrect information don’t be afraid to tell me I will correct it and cite any sources needed.

Most of my information was from the site above I try not use Wikiapidia if i can help it.
Here’s a video for all you Cephalopod lovers out there, I found this Documentary about Cuttlefish! Hope you enjoy!
Pretty interesting I’d Say. Personally I’ve always loved Cephalopods; they’re interesting creatures.
Illegal and unregulated fishing supports transnational crime, piracy, insurgency and terrorism and should be treated as a national security issue, a new report from the National Geographic Society and the Center for Strategic and International Studies says. Although illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing provide pathways for a host of criminal activities, “it doesn’t have the …
But, she added illegal and unregulated fishing “has the potential to become the crisis of the next century” because stocks are dwindling and population requiring protein are increasing.
Fish provide a large part of the protein consumed by 4 billion people now, said Myers. Historically, he added, “national resource conflict is one of the most common sources of conflict”
No one owns the ocean, and that is part of the problem. Nations will need to work together to ensure ocean resource security, or we WILL see conflict greater than we are already seeing now.
