Trevor Cooper - b.-1953
Wonderfully versatile and talented, chubby and extremely handsome Mr Cooper is one of my current favourites. I never used to watch Call the Midwife (BBC TV) until I found out he had turned up as Sergeant Aubrey Woolfe.
I love those old-style police uniforms. They conferred a whole lot more authority than the later fluorescent style and were more comfortable than they looked. These days, they only turn up for ceremonial duties.
And, of course, his bald head and wonderful moustache made him a winner for me. Of course, I stopped watching CTM when he bowed out of the series.
Sergeants should always have a stern look about them. Gets my heart racing every time.
Good God, does he never smile?
I think the picture on the right is the closest Woolfe comes to smiling, but then only when he's out of uniform.
love this actor!!
SO GORGEOUS
