“I’ll do my best,” Phyla replied, her tone droll. “Although, there was that incident in Sector-7 recently. We could have stood to be on time to that.”

Not too much, but enough. “Showing up on time is a lost cause when it comes to our group. No one seems to understand the importance of punctuality. They are, however, good to have in a scrap.”

Phyla shot him a look. “It’s not my saying.” As in, don’t ask her any further. She hadn’t made it up. She wasn’t even sure if it was accurate. At his next words, the Captain Marvel snorted slightly. “Well, we are teammates. If I trust you with my life, I should find you somewhat reliable, no?”
