What's wrong?
Text → Rory
Rory: Anyone up for some fun tonight?
Scott: HELL YEAH!!!
…Yeah. Thank you.
I’m so sorry, Sandy. About everything. And I really mean it -- you can talk to us. About any of this, I promise. That’s what friends are for. You always have us.
ooc. gonna be at a convalescent home from 10 -1, then dance practice from 1-3, then i’m dancing from 6-who knows. that is to say.... it’s gonna be a long day. i’ll probably be mobile for most of it. still, free free to message me on kira!
Yeah, no, it’s…I mean, I was really little, you know? We both were, I guess, but Duncan is older than me, so…well, anyway, he kind of…disappeared for a while. The cops were everywhere looking for him, and after the animal attack, everyone was really…he had gone into the woods and everything, so…but he came back, and…he is back to normal and everything, mostly. He doesn’t like to talk about what happened. I still don’t know what happened to him while he was gone.
Maybe, but…it just feels like they don’t trust me. Like they think I’m just a little girl, and I can’t handle whatever it is. And the worst thing is that I’m the only one who doesn’t know what’s going on.
...Can I hug you?

Allison: Maybe it's like me, with my family last year.
Allison: Of course, that's not necessarily a good thing.
Scott: Should we ask them?
It was. Everything about it was. And then Duncan went missing, and after that, we moved, and it was all definitely, really scary.
To think I can’t handle it? Whatever it is? Do you think it could be that bad?
Can I asked what happened with your brother?
I... I can’t speak for your parents. But I know that if I were hiding something from someone I cared about, it would be because I want them safe. Maybe there are some things that... if you knew, it would really scare you. And I don’t think they want that. I think that whatever your parents are hiding, they’re doing it out of love. They don’t want to hurt you, but maybe they think it’s for the best that you don’t know yet.

Scott: Isaac? Are you okay? You feel weird.
Scott: Isaac?
Scott: What's going on?
[ 2 missed calls ]
Scott: Call me when you get this.
Text → Ally
Allison: Which is not something the average human would be able to do. I think the Rivers family might be hunters.
Scott: I think so, too. But she has no idea.
Definitely…
Yeah, and I think so…I don’t think they were hurt, or at least, I don’t remember anyone going to the hospital or anything like that, that time…my memory of that night is really foggy, but I think they were okay. At least, not hurt okay.
Maybe…or maybe they don’t think I can handle something.
I’m glad they were okay, Sandy. That must’ve been terrifying.
Yeah... [He feels like a hypocrite, saying this. He and the pack are all hiding things from Sandy, too. She’s their friend, and they adore her -- even Lydia, who is rarely ever the first to give her approval -- and they all have to lie to her about all of this. It is for her own good, but that doesn’t make this conversation any easier.] I think maybe they have a good reason for it.

Allison: Not much at all. Maybe we can talk to Rory and Rollin and see what they remember. Why?
Allison: Well. Really well.
Allison: I hope so, too.
Scott: Sandy's brother and dad confronted the werewolf that turned Rollin. I don't know if they killed it or not, but they walked away just fine.
Text → Ally
Allison: No, you're right. It's safer for everyone if she talks to us about this, rather than someone who won't believe her and might not be nice. Or someone who will believe her, and who will be a threat.
Allison: Speaking of talking to people about these things, do you remember Kira? She was attacked by a werewolf when she lived in Brooklyn. And she's something. I'm talking to her about everything right now.
Allison: No, they don't. They definitely don't. But a werewolf might.
Allison: Do you think Malia might still be out there? I know it might be a long shot, but...Rollin was. Cora was. Maybe Malia is, too.
Scott: That's what I thought, too. Do you know anything about the Rivers family?
Scott: I remember. How's she taking it?
Scott: She might be. I hope she is.
Really? Thanks, Scott.
You do?
They probably do. I mean, I remember my dad going over to help, and my brother went, too. My mom was freaking out, and I remember her locking herself in a room with me. But if they remember any details, they never told me. They probably won’t tell me.
You’re welcome!
Yeah, of course. Weird things happen. Sometimes, there doesn’t always seem to be a normal explanation for it.
Your dad and brother went? And they came back okay?
It sounds like it was scary. Maybe they’re trying to protect you.

Allison: Oh my God.
Allison: It's no wonder she's getting suspicious. If she was there for that attack, and looks into anything about Beacon Hills, anyone would be.
[ a few minutes later, after Allison has read the article ]
Allison: This crash happened nine days before the Hale fire. I think Sandy is onto something. It can't be a coincidence. They never found one of the daughters?
Scott: I told her she could talk to us about it if she wanted to. I know it's risky, but I figured it's better if she talks to us than someone worse.
Scott: No. They found her sister's body in the car, but they think that a coyote might have taken her.
Scott: But coyotes don't do that. Wolves don't walk into houses and kill little girls, and coyotes don't drag kids away from car accidents.
Thanks, Scott. I just feel like there must be something going on. It’s all too weird for there not to be.
I can? Really?
You guys think there might be something weird going on, too?
Maybe there was. Maybe I’m remembering things wrong, or something like that. Rory and Rollin are here and fine, and everything, so there must have been. I must just be remembering things wrong.
You’re welcome.
Yeah, of course! You’re Liam’s best friend, and you’re our friend, too.
Yeah, sometimes.
Maybe. But you were young; it’s not your fault if you don’t remember everything. Do your parents remember?
Text → Ally
Allison: What?
Allison: No. I had no idea.
Scott: She was there during the attack. She was right next door.
Scott: She's starting to get suspicious. The same thing that happened to Rory and Rollin happened to another family here, and she thinks something else is going on that no one is telling her.
Scott: Might've happened, I mean.
Scott: [ attached link to Tate crash article ]

Scott: Hey.
Scott: Did you know Sandy used to live next door to Rory and Rollin?
