Hi, friends! I wanted to take this moment and share a lil' viral introduction since there are some new faces here! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ First and foremost, my name is Nathaniel, but everyone just calls me Nate. I’m a freelance Chicago-based food, product, and lifestyle photographer by day and an avid home baker by night. Sugar is my love language. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been baking and photographing for over 7 years now. I started my photography business at the age of 19 while working through my undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Back in April of this year I decided to leave my 9 to 5 job as a marketing manager to pursue my photography business full time. It's a wild and exciting ride ever since and I am so thankful to have you along for the journey!

Hi friends and happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend. Do anything exciting? The family and I spent the long weekend in Galena, IL. If you haven’t been, it is this beautifully quaint little village near the Mississippi river. It’s nestled on the rolling hills on northern Illinois and it has so much history, great dining, and breathtaking hiking trails. The family and I go up there roughly one to two times a year. I have dreams of one day opening a small shop on the main street and living on a small farm on the outskirts of town. Sounds peaceful doesn’t it? A man can dream, can’t he? . . . One of our favorite things to do in Galena is hike in the Palisades State Park, state park with great spots that overlook the river. Unfortunately, it rained for most of the weekend so a leisurely hike as out of the question. We were still able to enjoy these new draft lattes from @lacolombecoffee. When La Colombe reached out about their partnership with the National Park Foundation, I was ecstatic. 1). Because La Colombe Coffee is genuinely delicious and 2).
