Such good news! 109 missing and exploited trafficking victims, including children, were found and saved in Ohio. And close to 180 traffickers were arrested.

Human traffickers are a vile scourge on society.

Removing Cops From Behavioral Crisis Calls: 'We Need To Change The Model'

Starting next month, San Francisco will deploy new unarmed teams of professionals from the fire and health departments — not police — to handle most calls for people in a mental health or behavioral crisis.

Been seeing these new teams pop up in cities all over the US. This is the progress we need. 

More social workers and mental health professionals answering emergency calls. More resources devoted to helping people. Less untrained cops. Less police violence and unlawful arrests.
