Just finished watching See You in My 19th Life on Netflix, which I read as a comic when it was coming out. Overall, I liked the show but I kinda want to complain about how they changed the ENTIRE ending. Like why????? Especially the fact that they changed her memory of her first life. It's been a minute since I read the comic but I distinctly remember that Mr. Ha was the one who was her sister in her past life but in the show they made it Chowon, her current sister. Thats no fun at all and such a random switch the make. I think it cheapens the original themes about her CHOOSING to hang out to the specific connections from her life as Juwon and continue loving these people. If they were already special to her in the same way in her first life, it makes it seem like she was just always fated to love them. Among other things

I also think its weird how the people around her from previous lives are somehow in danger because she’s around them but once she forgets about them they’re not in danger anymore?? They’re still from past live even if she doesn’t remember. I liked the show but not so much the ending..
