MY OC'S TOYHOUSE THAT HAS SOME OF THEIR INFO (check tabs for the story)
I'm Carbon! I go by he/him, and have been a fan of Inazuma Eleven since 2013! Kidou Yuuto has been my comfort character (and crush, heh) ever since I first got into the series, to the point where i'll unapologetically entertain the silly little delusion that he's my husband, who i've been with for 11ish years now! 💜 I'm a self shipper/yumedanshi, shipping him with my OC Mizune and/or my more literal self insert Monoxide. Non-sharing, sorry.
I also collect alot of merch and key/official art for the series, which I post at my own pace.
(I also ship GouKidou, it's my OTP! 🔥💙🐧 Though i'm a multishipper! I love EnKi just as much!)
I'm very shy, only doing the occasional art or Kidou post, but I still check notifications frequently. I'll gladly answer any questions anyone has for me!
I am a wild deer, who might get comfortable enough to accept a treat from your hand.
Because Victory Road might spark interest in chairman Natsumi, I've decided to compile tidbits about 24-year-old Natsumi in the GO games that didn't appear in the anime!
For this post, I'll share screenshots as well as parts from the game script transcribed by InaLog!
Extra context: Natsumi's position was originally translated as "governor" in the UK English localization, but it's now translated as "chairperson" in Victory Road's localization.
GO 1 Shine/Light
This is the version of the game where Endou is married to Natsumi. Prior to the Endou house visit, Tenma finds Endou at the grocery store and there's a mini-game where Tenma helps Endou with the grocery list. If you get the grocery shopping wrong, Natsumi scolds Endou and tells him she's going to decrease his allowance. The dub version of the scene has Natsumi say "Did you read the shopping list upside-down?" instead of the allowance line.
GO 1 Dark/Shadow
In the version where Endou married Fuyuka, Natsumi shows up as a member of the Resistance at the Teikoku base in place of Sakuma. She wears a casual outfit that also appears in the anime when she joins the audience for the Holy Road final match.
GO 2 Chrono Stone
The chairman's office is largely the same as GO 1, which means the female secretary and the cat NPCs are still there. We can safely assume that Natsumi took over immediately after the chairman associated with Fifth Sector, Kinzan Gouzou, was ousted. The secretary who used to be curt to the player (Tenma) in GO 1 but is now friendlier and her dialogue is one of the first tells in the franchise that Natsumi is now the chairman. The secretary's changed behavior likely indicates that Natsumi is a kinder boss and provides a less toxic working environment.
The chairman's office also has a white cat which was previously seen with Kinzan Gouzou in GO 1. We can assume that the cat lives in the office (because we are not given any indication of the Endou household having a cat) and Natsumi is now its caretaker. The cat referring to the governor as "her" is the other tell in the game that the new chairman is Natsumi. Victory Road has Haru call his mom scary, but this point was also previously brought up by one of the cat's lines:
Governor's Cat: Mrowrrr... (The governor's really scary when she's angry. Beautiful but scary...)
Natsumi has a car in the Raimon parking lot, as pointed out by a student NPC:
Car-Loving Student: I've always been really into car design. Sometimes I get a bit carried away, just gawping at parked cars.
Car-Loving Student: My favourite is the governor's car. It's really sleek, and I bet it's super comfy inside!
I checked the parking lot in my copy of Chrono Stone, and this is the only unique car that is not a re-used asset within the parking lot so I believe it's hers: (Apologies for the colors looking a little weird in my photo.)
If anyone has any corrections or any more information to add, feel free to comment!
Rambling and typing for 3 hours straight to get it off my chest. Do not read unless you've finished Victory Road's story. spoiler heavy.
Alice and his methods, Teikoku, Kidou- and Kageyama's looming shadow.
I don't like how Alice is using tactics Kageyama would also have used, spying, striking at insecurities to demoralize... All of this came right out of Kageyama's playbook. Data gathering is one thing, as Kidou and Haruna would do that frequently though various means- but Alice takes it so far that i'm worried, I can't stop thinking about this.
Alice was adopted by Kidou, as to when this happened? I cannot be sure, but I personally believe it was when he was in his early 30's.
While I had always thought Yuuto would keep his link to Teikoku due to his strong family ties- I believed he would of wanted to avoid putting pressure to be a "Kidou" on his child, as that was Kageyama's excuse for taking him in- and opt to send them to Raimon. In hindsight, my judgement was wrong here, as Yuuto never did hate his father and the lifestyle he lived as a Kidou. He never complained about it. And hey! Alice ISNT a Kidou! He's Alice Fuwa! Not Alice Kidou! No expectations there.
Now thats whatever, he's Kidou fucking Yuuto, of course he's going to have his kid on Teikoku, he's always been tied to Teikoku and has pride in it, the writers will put him there, Teikoku is like, iconic for him.
Kidou and Kageyama are deeply intertwined, they're parallels in terms of story, and his 39 design even has callbacks to him with the over the shoulder ponytail, turtleneck, and dark sunglasses.
Kidou formed his own path despite Kageyama's influence, and accepted Kageyama's teachings are what made him who he was. So I won't complain at all about him showing those influences even now- infact, i'm glad he does. It's very human, yknow?
But now that he has a protégé of his own, a son he's training to be a soccer genius? That's where how far Kageyama's influence goes will truly show. And I... don't know how to feel.
Alice makes use of stalking, spying, personal jabs, trying to not just break Nagumohara's spirits and their will to keep playing- but their hearts and mind as well. His data collecting borders on obsessive, psychoanalyzing and digging up their insecurities and using those to his advantage on the field. It's dirty, uncalled for, desperate and pathetic.
(Oh hey my OC I ship with Kidou also psychoanalyzes the opponents to find emotional tension between the players and uses that to gain an advantage maybe Alice gets that from him- shut up Carbon this is not the time)
It can be argued this was a special case of desperation, the same desperation Kageyama and even Kidou himself felt when Raimon came on the field, a brand new club with members that werent on their radar- as no data existed on Nagumohara. We simply do not have enough information on Alice or Teikoku to currently tell if this is their typical behavior or not. (If anyone has more information or picked up on dialouge that supports this, please do discuss!)
Granted, Kidou has very few lines. He speaks only twice in the entire story, he tells Alice (simplified and not his exact words) "It's okay to lose, be comfortable with defeat"
From the bit we know: Alice is said to have anger issues, and live in a world of fantasies. His special tactic involves turning the entire field into his own personal wonderland complete with visual effects- He physically extends his previously only mental fantasies torwards the physical pitch. Is he blinding himself to the pain he's causing the other players by these fantasies, just like how Kidou was blinded by Kageyama's "godly presence" in his life? Alice's eyes are an unusual shape, and he has white, empty pupils.
(also like my OC omg ^u^ SHUT UP CARBON)
The delusions, fantasies, all black outfit, hunched stance, eyes, pupils, everything about Alice- from design to behavior- all scream that he isn't mentally healthy, and by extention? Neither is his relationship with soccer.
Kidou is likely trying to help him improve. He saw great genius in this troubled kid, and extended a hand in support- but... He doesn't address the wonderland aspect, does he?
"Losing is okay"
That's all Kidou says. Is that all he interalized as how to avoid becoming a man like Kageyama, as that's all the wisdom we've heard him pass down to Alice after that performance...? What direction is his character being taken here..? I have no answer. I don't know. I have no idea what else to say.
That said, Kidou has always been a character who knows juuust how far he can push rules before theyre broken. In truth he's kind of a jerk, always has been, always will be. Even in GO he's kind of a jerk. But he's still a good hearted guy despite that, you'd just think that after everything- he'd have limits when it comes to outright discouraging people from playing at their best in the way Alice was. He likes to fight strong opponents, and take them down- weaking their wills would be too dirty for him, yeah? Im not crazy for thinking this, yeah?
-----
Second half, less analytical, more general discussion.
Hino's writing of Endou and Natsumi isn't great either, they are OOC much like I believe Kidou to be here, with strange motives. These same OOC traits were also present in AreOri, so the question is this just how Hino sees and portrays these characters of his?
This is a game after all, and theres established dynamics and identifies for each team. Teikoku has to fit into the "Soldiers who bend the rules to the extreme" box- which is fully understandable, and Kidou and Alice have very short features in the story, so maybe i'm just obsessing too much.
Ina11's story and characters were a rather collaborative effort up until Ares and beyond. Level-5 staff, game writers, and anime writers all had greater input and influence on MUJI and GO than they did for AreOri + Vicro- so this has gotta be Hino's raw characterization of them, unassisted by others.
There's also taking into account the fact that Kidou was NOT initally planned to be featured in this game at all. Hino had stated that there were no plans to implement returning characters in the story- and that was a decision he made later on, saying "But plans might change..." So if that decision was made before or after the script was finalized and Alice was conceptualized is unsure- Kidou being his father, and therefore his influence on him and his methods- may not have been considered at all when he was initially written into the story, leading to me obsessively stuck ruminating for 3 hours over "why does he let his kid take plays out of Kageyama's playbook".
Also- this games story feels unfinished to me. Hino's scope was too big, I feel the same issue AreOri's writing had repeated itself here. I hold full belief that Raimon was intended to be playable, as the storys climax featuring them was half-baked, came out of nowhere, and we had many animated segments featuring them.
Modeling the entirely of Inazuma town, creating the NPC's, UI's, writing, and everything else involved in making a "second route" would of been a huge undertaking for Level-5, who had already been working in this game for 3 years, leaving fans waiting with the promise of a "New Ina11 game!" for 7 or so years at that point. The initial pitch for the Ares game even included the concept of going through the story of the three main teams individually- so that concept wouldn't of been new. Ideas got cut so this game could release, im sure of it. This story would not have ever been able to be told otherwise.
Perhaps, that's where we would of learned more about Alice, about everyone, and Kidou and especially Endou's motivations would have been much more clear. It's a shame it turned out this way, but heres hoping DLC or future games will address my concerns about Kidou's motives here.
Ina11 Secret Sakka 2025 Gift // Silence and Conviction
Surprise, @carbon8tion ! I'm your Secret Santa! I had just been thinking about HibiKage and when I saw your prompt, I knew I had to get to it!
Original prompt: "If Kageyama x Hibiki, this is bitter toxic old man yaoi. I dont think they interacted in Galaxy at all, so I want to see Kuroiwa reunite with him. Hibiki is reaching the final chapters of his life while Kageyama is opening a whole new book. Reunite them, however you see fit."
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
PS. I tried to gift this to your AO3 account but it isn't set to accept gifts. Lemme know if you're okay with that!
AHAHAHA THANK YOU! It's perfect, you write them soooo well! I'm always anxious to ask or discuss anything Kageyama related because of the (well deserved tbh poor Kidou didnt deserve to be put through all that) reputation he has among most fans due to him being, well, a villain- So i'm very very very happy you picked the KageHibi prompt and know them so well!!! YAAAAAY
(hang on im putting this under a read more incase anyone wants to read it first before I basically spoil it)
OMG the Gouenji interactions! Natsumi mentioned to have kept a relationship with Daisuke! Yes yes yesss I love that! I remember reading a friends (hi Gayuma) rambles on the parallels between Kags and Gouenji and its ahsgskshsgshs... Glad I was able to read this after that discussion since that's an interpretation I hadn't considered at all until then because of my Kidou Laser Focus and oh god it works and I see you showed a bit of it here, too.
I always saw the two of them as similar to GouKi and/or EnKi- Hibiki had so much passion, but he just didn't speak up in time and it costs them both more than anyone could ever imagine... You captured that regret well.
In the end it took a foreigner (Fideo) far removed from the Endou's legacy to remind him he loved soccer, what he truly was fighting for... Noone else could of done that, Kageyama was just too bitter, resentful, and cruel of a man and in just too deep to let anyone actually close to him affect him.. (Not really relevant at all Im just thinking a bit about how he lead up to become Kuroiwa and if I dont write this down I will Explode)
Kageyama you're still such a bastard, augh I hate him in the best way possible ❤️ Thank you
🐧: "So this is the typical Christmas, eh..? Fast food and cake? This is nothing like the roast father sets up each year…"
🐧: "…"
🐧: "Though… I remember reading it's traditionally a 'shortcake'…? This is chocolate and… not very 'short'."
🌱: "Yuuto, did you research Christmas?! Yeah, but this chocolates my favorite so I had them swap it out! And their shortcake this years SO tiny! It's got like, 4 layers of all of different kinds of chocolate! Go ahead and have a bite! 😋"
🐧: "This is a big enough cake to feed an entire soccer team, Haruna… 😮💨"
Kidou swears she does these things on purpose, he can never have a predictable meal with her around. She always has great taste, however, the cake really was good…!
The commemorative plate was unluckily broken when they opened the bucket, likely for the best as Kidou would have absolutely taken it home and displayed it next to all the imported crystal dinnerware and bone-handled cutlery, driving his dad mad. This memory spending Christmas with the Otonashi's will outlast any material goods, anyway.
____________________________________________
Merry Christmas! I'm your secret Santa @arimamary-main! The moment I saw this prompt I just had to do it, I love these two dearly.
"Haruna introduces his brother to the middle-class tradition that is the Japanese Christmas dinner (KFC and strawberry Christmas cake)"
Of course this is Haruna who has the reins, so a bit of the tradition is being thrown out the window so she can share a personal favorite instead. (Inspired by all the unique food experiences she brings Kidou on in Honosuto!) I hope you (and all the other fans of this duo!) enjoy!
(Goggle-less alt and a bit of talk of this art under readmore)
To get a bit personal, I lost my own sister a few months ago, her birthday was a week before Christmas- so this season has been extremely rough on me. Imagining these two having a traditional (but also unpredictable) Christmas was somewhat healing, so I thank you deeply for the opportunity to draw them, I think I actually lucked out getting paired with someone who had them as a prompt. The holly berries are there specifically in tribute to my own sister, but later I got curious and looked up the symbolism behind them and found they fit these siblings nicely. They represent sacrifice (Christianity), and protection. Many sacrifices were made in their journey to be able to sit here together and laugh, yeah? So it worked out beyond my own bit of grief.
And yeah, the cake flavor change was on purpose. It just REALLY feels like something she'd do, yknow? Everytime Kidou meets up with her, she always surprises him in some way- Don't expect a predictable holiday from her, you should know this by now, Kidou!
I wanted to make the bucket a bit more accurate to their christmas stuff complete with Not-Hibiki-And-Totally-Santa-Sanders face in a wreath, but the red dress Haruna has on made that impossible, it would of blended in. Oh well.
Ina11 Community Check-in#3: Share Your IE Origin Story
Welcome to another IE community post! This week's question is about your IE origin story.
How did you find Inazuma Eleven? Perhaps it was airing on TV, a friend playing one of the games, online fanart, or something else entirely?
My response: I first saw Inazuma Eleven on TV back in 2010. I think it was April when I finally decided to watch the series that aired after my Saturday morning cartoons. I clearly recall it was episode 9, the match with Shuuyo Meito where Megane was the protagonist. I thought it was so bonkers that I just had to know what happened next! That episode aged so poorly though.
Reblogs comments with your responses are strongly encouraged!

I followed a lot of Pokemon roleplayers on here back in the early 2010's- some group named ILASGOC- one day a ton of them all got into Inazuma Eleven. A few of them posted shitpost videos, youtube poop style. It looked interesting, I kept getting exposed to it from then. This one in particular was the breaking point. Kazemaru's design as well, I thought he was cute and was curious about him- but ultimately ended up falling in love with Kidou's character.
From there, I got way too invested, started a roleplay group on a now defunct browser mmo called "Whirled", and the rest is history. I'm from the USA, so me encountering this series was pure chance as it didn't get any official releases in any capacity here until the 3DS port roughly a year after I became a fan.
I later learned a few of my current Ina11 fandom mutuals were in that group, and indirectly responsible for dooming me into having a special interest of a series noone in my country cares about HAHA /lh
Posting these fake "leaks" I made for Victory Road that caused stirs on Twitter here for archiving. Ive seen them in at least 2 videos now
(I recolored and edited Danball Senki characters. The average twitter Inazuma 11 fan doesnt even know that series exists, and if they do- they probably watched the fancut of the crossover movie that removed all of the scenes for it because they think mechas boring. One I didnt even recolor just to see how gullible theyll be.)
Endou Mamoru's version exclusive romance options always intrigued me, so I gave them all some thought and analyzed his relationships and history with each to try and pick my ideal endgame ship. (It didnt work. Still cant decide.)
It's been a very long time since i've played the games, and I havent played them all-- so i'm only referencing my memory + what I already know for each of the lovely managers.
This isnt some weird dudebro level post, I promise! Trust my judgement here!
Italics = my own thoughts
(Not featuring Haruna or Touko, as they arent featured as marriage candidates in Chrono Stone)
-See it under the read more-
Natsumi ☀️
-Daughter of Raimon himself, ruler of the school, and thus an antagonist at the start.
-Father is opposed to a soccer team because of the incident 40 years ago
-Encourages a ton of kids fight the newly formed team (random encounters in-game) to discourage it because she kind of just does whatever her dad thinks is best...? Memory fuzzy here.
-Causes a few messes to distract the soccer team, seems curious about them. Doesnt seem to understand why the sports forbidden.
-Raimon vs Teikoku, seeing their passion starts to change her tune
-Watches them, seeks out resources for them, and she officially joins as manager, cute moments of the posh rich girl making friends with the sporty kids who kick dirt around.
-Discovers the training facility, restores access to it
-Season 2 happens, I have watched this the least, and its been ten years since I touched the game- I dont remember much. Im sure the game has some developments for her on her own and for Mamoru as she is a version exclusive romance option. Many scenes that would originally feature Aki in Blizzard are Natsumi's in Firestorm. So, at this point she's going out of her way to hang out with him. Way different from how avoidant she was in 1!
-Curious about Mamoru grandfather and the Inazuma Eleven, who was the team he coached 40 years ago.
-Has access to school records so she looks into it, where she finds out things dont add up, discovers Daisukes likely still alive.
-Follows those leads, heads off to where he is to investigate- a fully independent move of her own. Absent for half the season, the plot letting Fuyuka and the others fill her managerial role.
-I didnt play the Rococo-feature version of the game but she meets him there and they form a friendship, discovers Daisuke, encourages him to meet Mamoru.
-Rejoins Mamoru
-Timeskip, is a marriage option for Mamoru, Light version
-A member of the Resistance, as well as the chairman of Raimon Jr. High.
EnNatsu engame is the culmination of the Raimon family's 40+ year history of tragedy and prosperity surrounding the Endou family and soccer- even their butler was involved! Marriage with Natsumi Raimon ties it all together and cements the Endou's as an important, key part of Raimon, both the school and the family itself. Moreover- EnNatsu is a product of Natsumi's journey of self-discovery and independence.
To me, Natsumi falls under the tsundere archtype, she was pretty hostile at first! Her deciding to step out of the mansion and live a smaller-scale life with Mamoru is cute. She has the resources to travel frequently to see Mamoru's matches overseas before GO! Cute! Imagine Natsumi meticulously planning vacations, only for Mamoru's more spontaneous and free-spirit to take her down paths she never considered traveling and having a more fulfilling time because of it! Daisuke's passing before GO would affect her rather personally, given the friendship she formed with the man and all she went through to reunite him with Mamoru. Narratively: Natsumi is written to grow into the Endou family, so it's no surprise the anime went with her for the "canon" pair.
Fuyuka ❄️
(Character I have paid the least attention to narratively, sorry. Season 3's Kidou drama took up most of my attention (to noones surprise) Doing my best to remember)
-Childhood classmate/friend of Mamoru's
-Parents pass away
-Amnesia, or hypnosis to forget the accident depending on if its game or anime
-Adopted by Kudou.
Kudou: A man who was banned from coaching for 10 years because one of his teammated attacked an opponent before a match (Kageyama and Garshield's intervention, the opponent was Teikoku. Kageyama staged the inicident) and the blame was put on him after he quit on his own.
-Adopted Fuyuka while teaching, he initiates the hypnosis if anime logic
-Is hospitalized when PTSD is triggered, some memories end up regained
-Mamoru is a key part of her memory regain throughout the season. They spend lots of time together, and their date scene even gets animated for the anime.
-Also a marriage candidate for Mamoru in GO, Dark version.
-Works as a nurse, Resistance member.
EnFuyu endgame ties up her storyline. Endou was her savior, and her fathers as well, in the long run. Mamoru's relationship with Kidou Yuuto aided in breaking the abuse cycle that caused Kudou's coaching ban- and got him to redeem his name as a coach and win the world cup. Kudou would become Endou's father in law, which would be a great tie to the Kageyama storyline as well, this was 40 years of Endou family related drama!
To me, it also feels like re-encountering an old school crush. Mamoru is injured offscreen while playing overseas during GO, as a nurse, Fuyuka would be able to care for him herself! So cute! As a nurse who has likely seen loss, and given her early loss of her parents, she would also be extra qualified to support Mamoru when Daisuke's passes sometime before GO. (I'm not too familiar with Fuyuka's characterization, i'm not able to think of many domestic scenario she can share with Mamoru, sorry! ;;)
Aki 🍂
-Childhood in America, likely New York, with Ichinose and Domon.
-The truck event.
-Doctor and Ichinose's parents lie to her, a child, about her friend dying?????
-Eventually moves to Japan, meets Mamoru. A version exclusive romance option of the "girl-next-door variety"
-Founding member of the club alongside him. Friend's from the very start!
-Is the only manager with previous experience as a soccer player, bonds with Mamoru over it in and outside of school.
-Helps teach the team the Hissatsu she helped create!
-My memory is fuzzy on the version exclusive scenes, sorry. I need to replay the games. Like Natsumi, Blizzard has her exlcusive scenes.
-A great support for Mamoru and the team throughout the series, running their blog and social medias. Very organized, hard working. Almost as crazy about soccer as Mamoru is, despite her inability to play on the team itself.
-Conflicted on if she should be manager for Inazuma Japan or The Unicorn (This is probably why she got dropped as a marriage candidate in GO over Fuyuka, it's a cute story of a childhood crush that healthily died out otherwise, which is very appreciated given how the target audience of elementary and middle school is usually when kids develop surface-level ideas of love. I'm glad to see it featured here, very cute)
-In GO, Landlord of Kogarashi Manor, coaching one of the few adult soccer teams we meet in the series.
-A marriage option only in an alternate timeline in Chrono Stone, as other material seemingly pairs her with Ichinose.
EnAki endgame is the story of two soccer freaks who stuck together from the very start, never leaving eachothers side even when others got involved! Not as dramatic development as the other options given Ichinose's involvement in the plot, a very down-to-earth, childhood friends to lovers story, and if you take Ichinose into account, a bit of a love triangle!
To me, the idea of two coaches dating is cute! Imagine a little bit of rivalry between them! Mamoru goes overseas to play professionally in GO, he's absent for a bit like Ichinose was, so some of that "I miss my overseas lover" plotline that happens for IchiAki still remains for EnAki. It's been long enough to where she might feel comfortable kicking the ball around again, with THE most supportive player holding her hand when she does. She and Mamoru are also both earth element goalkeepers! Imagine them coming up with their own Hissatsu together!
--------
I care very much about each and every one of the managers, I think they're all really well incorporated into the world of this very male-centric story and Mamoru's life! He's also well incorporated into theirs! They've got alot more than people give them credit for!
So, what version exclusive Wife are YOU picking for Endou?
