I became a taylor fan when I was 3. My uncle brought one of Taylor’s demo albums home for my cousin from Nashville and I spent a lot of time with her as I was looked after by my nan a lot growing up and so was she. I was hooked instantly and I remember listening to songs off her website before debut was even released. I got her debut album a few weeks after it came out and loved it. I still love that album with my whole heart. When I was younger I struggled to speak and Taylors music fixed my voice, I could finally pronounce my words so basically she taught me to talk. When speak now came out I was super excited. I actually had tickets to the show In Birmingham but my parents decided last minute that I couldn’t go and then I had to wait a few years until I got to go to the rep tour. Taylor has been my idol and hero for the past 15 years and the role model I look up to. As someone who has been writing music since I was tiny having someone like Taylor to look up to is incredible. Her songwriting skills have helped me with my songs and she has changed music forever. I got my first guitar at 6 but didn’t start playing properly until 13. I now have 6 guitars and hope to get more. Last summer my dad had a heart attack and a few months later I went downhill mentally. I broke. I was always the happy girl who was never sad but on the inside I was tied together by a single thread and that thread was wearing down. I started meds to help me and to get away from the world I look to Taylor and her music. I’m going to stop now because this is already super long and nobody will even read this far. But Taylor, thank you. You’ve kept me alive and if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be here today. I owe my life to you. I love you @taylorswift @taylornation

We literally have the same life scar! I was 5 when I first picked up a guitar 7 when I got one. And now have 6 including two taylors with are my absolute favourite. @taylorswift you inspired me from the start!

Im really disappointed with this fandom at the moment. People don’t feel happy here anymore, people are getting bullied constantly, there are so many immature people. No wonder Taylor isn’t interacting with us. We don’t deserve her. So many people are leaving due to how vile and toxic it’s becoming. If we want this fandom to last and stick so we can have and make all these friends we have we need to grow up, start being nice and stop having stupid private groups that then bully others and make them feel worthless. It’s getting so old now. It’s not high school. It’s a fandom who are meant to be a family.

I listened to the song. I LISTENED TO THE SONG! If we talk you’ll probably know this was a big thing for me. Taylor performed that song when she said she was scared you. I had to listen to it. I faced my fear and even tho I cried and I’m still crying. I did it. And I’m glad I did.
