Homecoming?

"What the..." Kyouko opened her eyes after she took a nap to find she was back home in Mitaki City or whatever this city's name was and was once again witnessing Sayaka becoming a witch. Did the scientists let her go? She saw the other girls as well. "I know what I have to do. With everything I learned in Hive City I will not lose her again." Kyouko was sitting next to Sayaka as she was lamenting but this time she would make sure..wait no nothing could change if she did this she was sure. She should have been happy to be home and she did encounter the others in Hive. No she was not going to repeat this tragidy again. She quickly hugged Sayaka and cried with her. "I'm here. I am sorry I left you but this time I know what I must do.." Sayaka stared at her. "What are you talking about?" Kyouko shook her head. "Long story.." She just held her close. Would she go back to Hive? That was debatable. She also vowed to get to the bottom of this mystery as to why she was able to return home...

Not So Happy Return

Deja Vu. After being returned to her true home she was not expecting to be returned to Hive City. After her many adventures which she slightly remembered but some memories were fuzzy she was back in this prison. "Aww what the hell..this was such a..tease..." When she stepped out she noticed that this was not the same City she was plopped back into...signs of quakes were everywhere and people looked dazed as if in a trance..speaking as if they were seeing things and fighting at thin air. "What is going on here!" She approached the nearest person and hoped he or she was sane. "Excuse me what happened to Hive since I was gone?"

“Anytime Madoka. Funny..I can’t stay mad at you or anything. But I guess this City can change you..” Kyouko mused. However hearing Madoka talk about the two going on a shopping spree with food to boot made her grin. “Hell yeah..”

    “That would make sense. I haven’t been here as long as you, but I suppose change wouldn’t be surprising. I guess.. There is a positive in all of this! Even if brings us only a little bit closer, I’d be happy.” There were a lot of things about Kyouko that she admired, really. Pushing pink locks away from her face, her smile only continued to widen.

"Madoka that is one thing I hate about you .." Kyouko admitted. "You are sickeningly so positive. At first I thought you were just a annoyance but as we grew as a team and closer after our witch hunts I accepted you one hundred percent." She admitted. "But nah I am still the one and only Kyouko Sakura!" She struck a pose briefly then sat down. " I like when you are happy. Just stay Madoka Kaname ok?"

She chuckled. “You really do not know. Well I could tell you but you might be better off not knowing. As for your invitation let me think on it.” Kyouko would want to know more about this house and her friend Kanbaru first.

Over the years she had heard the mysterious word yaoi. It seemed that most people figured that she was better off not knowing its meaning. Even that bastard Shoutaro had somehow looked embarrassed when she asked him. After that she was too embarrassed herself to ask someone else, let alone look the word up on her own. She didn’t even know the Kanji for the word.

“Well whatever you decide,” Kyoko said. She was a little worried that Sakura-san might think her immoral so she added, “The place is quite respectable. I certainly wouldn’t live in a place with loose morals. Kanbaru has never brought a boyfriend over that I’ve seen and I don’t date.”

"Alright. In that case we should have a look." Kyouko replied nodding as Kyoko explained about the house. "Don't worry about it. Nothing bothers me honestly."

Rena giggled in response, she smiled and left, soon she returned with the order Kyouko had made. Though she had acted as if Kyouko had paid for it, she had actually paid for her, She kept her promise and with the money she made from her jobs, Rena didn’t mind to do so. She continued serving the red haired the cheesecake and strawberry tea. “Ano, today it’s really very full and I’m very busy because of that , but you’re always welcome to visit Just Desserts, Rena would love to spend more time with Oujo-sama.”

Kyoko blushed at the title she was given. She felt that she was not worthy of a high praise but she would humor the girl. "Thank you. And yes I will be sure to come back again. Sucks that it is busy but I trust you will do your best." She pet Rena's head and took the cheescake digging in then a sip of her tea."Delicious." She complimented.

“As long as we can get some food out of it sure.” She agreed. “I think we can manage some spoiling. You should still try to get a job to support yourself but if you need anything I am around.” Why was she being so nice? Maybe it was because she was just lonely here she missed her friends.

    “We will, I promise! I can’t thank you enough. Once I get a job, I’ll take us on a shopping spree for clothes and food. Hehe, I look forward to it.” She really did feel lucky and would make sure to remember even the little moments like this. She didn’t know how long she would be in Hive City, but she would certainly try her best.

Kyoko had no right to offer Sakura-san an place to stay at the house. It made her feel bad. She wanted to help her out but it wasn’t directly in her power. Kanbaru-san was a very nice person and there was plenty of room in the house with only her and Kyoko living there. Their last house guest disappeared fairly quickly.

“If you’re interested in living with us you’d need to ask Kanbaru-san. It’s her house after all. She is a really nice person so I’m sure she wouldn’t mind you living with us. She calls the place the Yaoi Bunker, what ever that means.

She went a bit closer to Kyouko so no one could see her following actions, she politely waved it off. “It’s okay, I told you, I invite you.” She whispered a bit nervous , she then and took a step back. bowing her head. “Certainly, Oujo-sama’s strawberry tea and cheesecake will be ready in a bit. ”

Kyouko put the money back in her pocket a bit surprised she was getting a treat for free. She then nodded to the girl. "Alright thank you young miss.." She replied playing along. She continued to sit staring out the window lost in thoughts.

“Oh. That was nice of your friend. I would like to live in a house myself but no one I know has one..” Kyouko admitted as she listened to Kyoko. “Any sport is..” She agreed.

“I was pretty lucky that Kanbaru-san was the first person I met when I arrived at the city the first time. By the second time I got sent here she had her own house and invited me to live with her. To earn my keep I do some chores around the house and do the cooking. It’s great having someone to share meals with.”

“Wow I had no idea we were still in the same Sector. Or that we lived in the same apartment complex..” She replied. “Well no I am not picky just make it anyway you want.” She was being serious.

“I actually don’t live in an apartment. The first friend I made when coming to the city has a house and she lets me live with her,” Kyoko said as she motioned towards a side exit to the theater. It opened into the alley between it and the building next door. “She is a very nice person and she loves basketball. I’ve never really played much but it seems very fun.”

"Oh. That was nice of your friend. I would like to live in a house myself but no one I know has one.." Kyouko admitted as she listened to Kyoko. "Any sport is.." She agreed.

Kyouko perked. “Sure if you are offering me some food.” She never said no to a offer. “My home is back in Sector 5. Bit of a walk so yeah..” She was also feeling a bit lazy.

Kyoko was already thinking about the ingredients she would need to use for the omurice. She was pretty sure she had everything she needed. It would be embarrassing if she didn’t, but she had just gone shopping the day before.

“Well you shouldn’t have far to walk home then. Like this theater, the house I love in is also in Sector 5,” she answered cheerfully. “Is there anything spacifically you like in your omurice?”

“If you are willing to teach me somethings of course I will be happy to work with you Kyoko.” She nodded willing to take any job that was avaliable to support herself rather then steal more from people. “Yes.”

Kyoko looked around the room not quite knowing what to say. She noticed the clock. It was time to start cooking supper. She had to go back home. Luckily where she lived was really close by.

“I need to head back home to cook,” she told her. “I was thinking of making some omurice tonight. If you’d like some you’re welcome to come over.”

She shook her head as Sayaka blamed herself for leaving her all alone. What she wanted to say was drowned out in her mind by a outpour of tears. But yes. Sayaka was here..alive. To Kyouko that is all that mattered.“We both failed..” She mumbled. “Stupid fates…I..I’m glad you are here. I waited so long for you baka..” She nuzzled her while slapping her gently on her arm.

The blue haired teen couldn’t help the laugh which left her as the red head hit her arm, unable to contain herself, and squeezed her as hard as she could possibly ever muster. “I missed you too, Kyouko! So stop crying, that’s not like you much at all!” She pulled away to look back into ruby orbs with a slight nod and grin spread wide across features. “Let’s just enjoy each other’s company now, got it?”

"Oww what the hell Sayaka!" Kyouko blurted out but it was a softer kind of anger as she knew she ment well as she rubbed the spot where she was squeezed. "Yeah sorry I guess I have been in this City..this hell so long without you I did not realize I would succumb to lousy emotions." She forced a chuckle linking her arm into her former rival/friends/lovers? arm gazing back at her softly. "Sure alright so what would you like to do? We could go eat or I could show you around this hellhole." She joked at the word hellhole as being her long this City was actually not all that bad.

“Oh. Understandable I suppose.” She felt a bit embarassed but hid it under a small smile of her own.

Despite how they met Kyoko couldn’t help liking this other Kyouko. Plus if she wanted a job she was happy to offer her one. With some luck Sakura-san could even pick up a few skills while she worked here. Maybe she wasn’t as horrendous of an actor as she professed to be.

“So did this seem like a place you’d be interested in working at?” Kyoko asked.

She gave her a respectful title she noticed. Honestly she was not a wealthy person or anyone of worth but she supposed that was how she was raised. Not questioning out of respect she took a second glance. “Do you have some tea?” She asked. “If you do I will have that along with a slice of your cheescake..” She decided.

“As you wish Oujo.-sama;” The hostess pulled out a note and pen, and started writing down Kyouko’s order. “If you allow me to suggest, we have a delicious strawberry tea it’s definitely worth a taste. Hau~ Or perhaps you prefer our special tea for the event. Our christmas tea, with a flavour of cinnamon and apple.”

"I will take that strawberry tea." She replied as she took a seat at a table that was not too crowded money in her pocket. Sure she had stolen some from people but it was all she knew how to do to survive.

“I see. Sorry if it seemed like some odd question.” She was quick to note how Kyoko seemed a bit annoyed by her asking.

She was momentarily confused by Sakura-san’s apology. The question wasn’t odd. It was quite pertinent to their conversation. Maybe her irritation for the opening night delays had inadvertently shown through in her answer.

“There’s no need to apologize,” she told her as cheerfully as she could muster. “I’m just a little upset with all of the delays.”
