Did you know lions can spend about 18-20 hours a day sleeping and resting? Males are at the far end of the spectrum, easily snoozing for 20 hours in a 24 hour period. Females, spending more time hunting and caring for cubs, usually sleep a few hours less. Regardless, lions will make even the laziest of house cats look down-right over-active! Did you know that thirteen different sub-species of #bobcat are currently recognized all based on geographic location. Bobcat populations range from southern Canada to southern Mexico. Bobcats are very adaptable and live in a variety of habitats including deep forest, swamps, deserts, mountains, and even urban environments. As long as prey is available, it can find shelter and cover, and is mostly undisturbed, bobcat populations can survive. #Bobbie
