Look, I wasn't going to rb this, but opened tw, and came across these:

This is so disrespectful. "Gifs are for reaction, and for public use."

You don't open whatsapp and send your friend a cat gif. This is content. Creator spends lots of time on those gifs. Most of the gif apps want you to pay lots for good quality, sharpening and color palettes.

There's a huge difference between a video and a gif if you ever look at it, for ex: This is the original vid you take the clip from:

And this is what happens when you "just loop" it:

And this is just a pic. I won't even talk about making the gifs smoother, more quality, less pixels, little dots scattered on the screen etc.

You can't steal people's content. It's that basic. Even if you make an edit from it, doesn't matter. Have some respect.

As an experience myself, I just came across someone else reposting my edit on a different platform, which I spent 3 days making, and it's already getting on my nerves, but not giving credit is one thing, answering comments and acting like it was 'you' who made the edit is another.

Pathetic. Just that. Put some respect for the people who spends a lot of time on their works, and give credit, the least you can do.
