“There’s a funny story behind that photo. We got the shirts, we messed around with the ostriches, went to the gift shop, got the shirts, and we were going to leave. And, um, it is right on a very busy highway, or it’s a road, so there are cars going past, fairly loudly. We were packing up and as the cars were going by, the traffic was really loud, I said to Ryan ‘We should take a picture by the sign with our shirts!’ or maybe I said ‘shirts on’? And he was like ‘Oh okay. Do you think?’ And I was like ‘Yeah, of course, why not?’ We just bought these shirts so it made sense to me. And um, he started taking his shirt off and I was like ‘What are you doing?’ And he said ‘I thought you said you wanted to take a photo of us with our shirts off!’ And I was like ‘No! With our shirts! Our new shirts that we just bought! Why would I-what are you talking about?!’ And he was like ‘Oh, I just thought it’d be a funny picture.’ And I was like ‘Well you’re right, it would be a funny picture. Let’s take that picture!’ Um. And when we took that picture, I was like ‘Well, this can never see the light of the day,’ cause it’s just too strange. And then Stephen Castro edited this and he was like, ‘do you have any photos from Ostrichland?’ and I was like ‘Yeah, I do. I really do.’ Some with the ostriches and I was like eh, have this one. Just take it.”
