ââHâm, okay then, well... Itâs JUST that you MIGHT bleed to death IF you donât get that checked out,â she scrunched her LIPS as she looked down at the wound.Â
[ @suckerferpain ]
Features relaxed when she learned that the money she had, would be enough to return her to her hotel room. Itâs not that she DIDNâT LIKE the pavement that she was stood on, she JUST, felt very out OF place and unwelcome to those who LIVED on the streets. Course, she would never expect them to be, heck, should the places be SWITCHED, then she was sure that she would feel the same way towards WEALTHIER OUTSIDERS. She followed the lead that he pushed her towards, but would turn around to face the man when she was stood on the step. ââThank you,â she hyped as she lunged forth to wrap her DAINTY arms around HIM once more. She was a hugger, and she was ever so grateful for HIS efforts, so hug the man she shall. â...For E V E R Y T H I N G,â she added WITH her mouth spread INTO A warm grin. They soon parted ways, after she had waved HIM goodbye, and she turned to make her way up the steps.
Carmen was not made to brave the WINDS OF the SOUTHSIDE nor the people that danced among the FLUTTERING leaves. She became all the more aware OF that fact, when he responded to her query about the very blade that he had handed to her. He seemed ASTONISHED at what she came to ponder about, and she knew then and there, as she wrapped two hands round the handle and BIT her bottom LIP WITH MINOR glee, that she was not cut out for such areas. She got EXCITED over GENEROSITY for heavenâs sake, she had no use here. That POINT was proven further, the more she walked ALONGSIDE the taller man. He would swagger HIS way through WITH heavy shoulders, and she would SKIP her way along every now and then. It would also seem that those she passed on the narrow LITTERED streets, all moved IN the same way as the man DID too. Was IT A culture THING? She had no clue. When QUESTIONED about the money that she had on her, she began to pat at her pockets. ââI have about FIVE dollars on me,â she looked up at HIM WITH hopeful eyes. âThat should be enough, RIGHT?â
To say that the rushed and rather EXCEPTIONALLY large gulps that she had taken, had no IMPACT on her, would be QUITE the LIE, because they IN fact, had done so. A small amount only MIND you, because she had drank the ENTIRE bottle IN less than one MINUTE, so when she stepped forward, she somewhat felt the rush and wobbled on her feet. She spread her arms out to the SIDE and stopped so she could STABILISE herself, to also ensure that she had full control over her stance, before she CONTINUED on her merry way, WHICH was, out the set OF double doors. Once the fresh, but BITTER AIR HIT her, she felt her head overcome whatever DIZZINESS that had settled, but felt her body PRICKLE IN goosebumps IN response to the cool WIND that swarmed them. She was not all that bothered, but SIMPLY had to cross her arms over her chest to prevent herself from SHUDDERING. When the blade was handed to her, she glanced down at the weapon WITH WIDE awed eyes. S H I N Y. But also dangerous. So when she took IT, she had to maneuver her hand round INTO HIS palm to grasp the handle, and not the sharpest POINT that he held out to her. ââW A I T,â she extended her forearm past HIS chest to stop HIM. âYou mean I can keep THIS?â She asked, shocked at such generous nature.Â
"What did I tell you about trying to hold my hand in public?â ( hAHAH UHHH, sorry )
MEME | ACCEPTINGÂ
When he confronted her through word, she dropped the hold she had OFHIS hand and looked round WITH INNOCENCE as her demeanour. ââUhm,that..â she looked over at HIM WITH large doe eyes. ââŚThat I ( uhh ) could?â
[ @shrlxcked ]
Yes, she was a stranger to all that INVOLVED weaponry or matters that centred round actual heart STOPPING danger, but she was far from STUPID. See her as some harmless yet CURIOUS butterfly that was ever so eager to explore. It would also be WISE to see her as a HYPERACTIVE BEING that had an outlook that could do no wrong nor error. In other words, she was very OPTIMISTIC and even more so ENERGETIC. The people that surrounded her however, were not, and so to control that, or MIMIC the ways OF the rundown town was rather hard. But STILL, she would try her best to REMAIN less hyper than she would usually be. All she wanted to do, was hold IT, and she looked at HIM WITH large doe eyes, UNTIL he gave IN. Loaded or not she was not bothered, she JUST wanted to feel part OF the gang, and she soon got to be, when she took hold OF the very gun. But course, no matter how hard she would try to mask her EXCITEMENT, she could not help but somewhat squeal IN her closed mouth to HIS agreement. ââItâs HEAVIER than I thought IT would be,â she tested the WEIGHT IN her palm, before she would AIM and pretend to press the TRIGGER. âPew, pew,â she would say to herself IN her ENJOYMENT. When stated that she was to leave for her own safety, she held up her INDEX FINGER as she SLIPPED down from the stool. ââOh bear WITH,â so that she would not waste the beer, she began to SIP at IT, or gulp down a few large SIPS rather, UNTIL most was gone. âWhoo!â She placed the bottle down and beamed at HIM. âLetâs go.â

"Youâre embarrassing!â "You act like a fucking child.â  "Sometimes I canât remember why I ever loved you in the first place.â  "What did I tell you about trying to hold my hand in public?â  "I donât want people to know that Iâm dating you!â  "Youâre patheticâŚâ  "You make me sad. Just looking at youâŚâ  "I canât be around you anymore.â  "Youâre not worth it.â  "Youâre nothing. Not to me. Not to anyone.â  "Stop looking at me like thatâŚlike youâre expecting me to care. You should know better by now.â "Youâre useless.â  "Loving you was the most idiotic thing Iâve ever done.â  "Pretending to love you was excruciating.â  "You thought I could really love someone like you?â  "Iâm justâŚgetting tired of you.â  "I have to get out. Youâre ruining my life.â  "I used to dream about you but now youâre the star of my nightmares.â  "Youâre a disappointment.â  "I tried to love you..I really did.â  "Youâll never be anything to me.â  "I wished you realized how much Iâve grown to loathe you.â  "Youâre so ignorant.â  "You look ridiculous!â  "Iâm not going out with you in public looking like that.â  "Every one makes fun of you.â  "You make me look bad.â  "Youâre a waste of time.â "Iâm not yours anymore!â  "Itâs not [her/him]! Itâs anyone! I could love anyone more than I love you.â  "You donât deserve me.â
Though he and she DID not know one another all that well, she knew HIM well enough to know that he was IN no state OF sound MIND. He both looked and sounded as though he had ventured to hell, and had struggled to come back, yet had never wanted to return IN the FIRST place. It was all so strange to her bemused and now troubled MIND. Yes, she cared about others, some would say that she cared too much for her own good, but she could never leave HIM now that she knew he was unwell. ââŻâŻIf you must know, IT IS too much trouble,â she assured as she nodded her head IN A prompt manner. âAnd youâre not FINE,â she stepped forward and sat herself down on the arm OF the CHAIR. ââŻâŻâŻâŻSo, whatâre your symptoms?â
Carmen, who had caught the STAND-OFFISH look that he had flashed her way, let HIM move out the set OF double doors FIRST and when he was not LOOKING, she creased A MILD frown as she held M I M I C to the look that she was shown. It was all for her own humour really and not meant as some INSULT, should he have IN turn, caught her REACTION. Before that very door could even so much as SWING closed, she made her way out so that she could LISTEN. He seemed to be far too mentally DRIVEN to have control over the pace OF HIS movement, not that she held MIND to that, she JUST WISHED that he would have a slower GAIT so she DIDNâT have to hop and SKIP every now and then JUST to keep up WITH HIM. ââYou mean to say youâve seen the stuff on the FOOTPRINT before?â She called out to HIM as she lunged forth to reach HIS SIDE. ââOh, uhm,â she began when QUESTIONED about the reason for her presence, her hand REACHING round to clutch at her HAIR a tad ANXIOUSLY. âI JUST wanted to see how THIS whole THING worked as all. I mean.. I-I can leave,â she POINTED her thumb over her shoulder. âIf you want.â
Carmen watched as he reached over the counter, sure that he pull out another beer or SOMETHING OF that matter, but that was not the case. He had INSTEAD, pulled out a handgun. Jaw dropped to that, and eyes came to grow IN WIDTH as she eased up off her seat a tad, so that she could look over IT. Never before had she seen one LIVE and IN the flesh. It looked so heavy, but compact for IDEAL usage. It scared her but also INTRIGUED her, and some could say that that, was a very dangerous COMBINATION OF EMOTIONS, but not QUITE so when IT came to her. She was harmless, but was clumsy. âââMay I?â She would QUESTION IN hopes that he would at least allow her to hold IT, her tone OF some CURIOUSLY enchanted nature. To the pullback, as followed BY the harsh sentence that came her way, she held her palms up as IF she were SURRENDERING to some POLICEMAN, as she pressed together, the LIPS that had curved. She was not INSULTED but more so, challenged BY HIS nature. He was no man OF INTIMACY, she understood that well. ââYouâre no hugger. Got IT,â she flashed HIM an ACCEPTING SMILE as she gave HIM one nod.
Though she was no constant DRINKER, she was no stranger to all that was ALCOHOLIC. She knew a good beer when one would sweep over her taste buds, and the one that she had tasted at THIS very bar, was not half bad. To the comment made BY the person who was sat IN another area, she glanced over at the one who spoke, before she shot one uncomfortable GRIMACE to the stool that she sat upon. To even comprehend death to occur upon a place that you have touched was somewhat strange. She took another SWIG as the man began to state that she was to get herself KILLED, should she CONTINUE. Though on a normal day, she would have opposed to such CONCEPTIONS, but IN THIS very moment, she held BELIEF that death could very well be around the corner. She PINCHED her lower LIP then, as she placed the bottle to the counter. ââI THINK I shouldâve brought some pepper spray WITH me. Thatâd be safer RIGHT?â Mused she before she hummed to herself IN thought. Carmen WAITED for her hand to be shaken for what would seem LIKE, well, ages, but when IT FINALLY came, she pulled HIM INTO A warm hug. She always was the type to be very cuddly. âââThank you BY the way, for what you DID. I dunno what I wouldâve done IF you hadnât shown up,â she pulled back, her SMILE pretty much spread from ear to ear.
The people who walked the town, why they were A MIXED bunch to her eyes. Some appeared rougher than others, some looked as though they had known LIFE elsewhere, but that drunkard, now he looked well, UNSETTLING. He seemed very capable OF EVIL acts, and that was not SOMETHING she wanted to put to the test. It was clear to even her then, that she was way out OF her elements. To put on a brave face was not as easy as IT once was, but now that she had been escorted INSIDE, she soon found herself once more. In other words, that LITTLE startle had only scared her bubbly nature away for so long, before IT came back to the surface. She seated herself down onto the stool next to the man that had saved her from an INCREASE OF FRIGHT, much more at ease, even though those IN the bar looked somewhat rough. She glanced around, and WITH her CHIN angled down, would SMILE as she tucked her glossy HAIR BEHIND her ear. She would extend that very hand then, to take the bottle that was bought for her, soon SETTING the cool surface upon her lap as she looked back and forth between the bartender and the other man. âââHe wasnât the NICEST person to meet Iâll ADMIT,â she began IN reference to the drunkard who was known as, Frank, as she glanced over at the entrance doors. âIs he always LIKE that?â She SIPPED once at the beer, and approved the taste WITH A nod. âIâm on HOLIDAY actually. Not to THIS part OF town though. Iâm way out OF where Iâm suppose to beââoh! Iâm Carmen by the way,â she beamed as she extended a hand out to HIM.Â
Carmen had saved all that she earned for months JUST so she could explore the grounds that she had not touched, so that she could taste the AIR that she had never breathed, so on and so forth. London was fun for those who were ALIEN to the CITY, but spend endless years there, and you may JUST grow bored. The area was not BIG enough for the CURIOUS cat that was she. Her adventures started when she was but a CHILD, and now she had seen all that there was. It was TIME for her to spread her WINGS and fly. She spent her days IN CHICAGO, the company that she kept her own for none were able to accompany her on her rather EXPENSIVE venture. Not that she was all that bothered WITH BEING alone on her travel, she had never done that before, so she was rather merry about the whole THING. It was to be a two week TRIP, and she had used FIVE days so far to SIGHTSEE, but her eager CURIOSITY had gotten the better OF her, and she DECIDED to take the CTA to the more rural areas. She explored the area that was most COMMONLY known as the SOUTHSIDE, for whatever reason, she was unsure why the locals spoke badly OF IT, for even when she was IN that town, she found IT to QUITE QUAINT. That was, UNTIL some old drunkard attempted to mug her. The gun OUTLINE made her freeze, and caused her throat to swell. She was about to hand over the cash IN hopes that she could AVOID trouble, hands FIGHTING AGAINST the urge to tremble. But before she could pull out her purse, the drunkard was RIPPED away from her. She held her breath for a moment or two, but soon felt RELIEF wash over her. ââN-no, Iâm good,â she SAID through her outwards exhale OF RELIEF, as she stepped towards the younger man.  Â
