Three new book blanket squares! I'm not sure why this picture sucks, but oh well. I'm not sharing for the quality of the photo lol. Though I will say that it did not capture the colors very well. Especially in relation to the book covers. For Whispers in the Waters and Starter Villain, I read the ebooks, so I didn't have a physical book to take the photo with, hence the added cover art. The squares do match the covers better IRL thankfully. Some day I will need to take a picture of these outside in the sun or something to show them better. In any case, one square is missing, another Witcher book square. It's really similar to the one in my previous post though. Same colors, slightly different order. And I have since finished another book and a half so two more squares are coming. I'm really enjoying the Blood of the Fae series so far (by Sarah Chislon). Whispers in the Waters is book 1 for those who want to know. I have to say though, I almost didn't continue because the main character, Jessa really annoyed me at first. The world, other characters and the magical stuff kept me reading into the second book and by the end of the second book Jessa becomes more tolerable though. I'm halfway through book 3 now and she's definitely better still. I wish I could elaborate more on why, but I am not one for spoilers. That said, Starter Villain was a wonderful, lighthearted and sometimes silly (in a good way) read. And House of Salt and Sorrows was pretty good too (and a retelling of my favorite fairy tale).
